Number One China Buffet

Avenging the bad reviews, this place is pretty good! Everything is pretty clean, food was pretty good for the most part. The rice was a little dry, but the chicken, pork, crab rangoons, spring rolls, shrimp were amazing. This place does not deserve all these bad reviews, people saying “where is the health department in this place?!” Well, a health inspector sat down at the table next to us for HIS lunch break, two full plates. I would come back to this place, lots of tasty food options, cool people, cool chinese vibe.

I have been here a few times on my lunch break but today is the day I won’t be back. Floors were disgusting, went to grab a take out container and the top 2 looked like they were previously on the floor, food was slimy when it shouldn’t be, chicken had tendons in it, rice was one slop ball (not sticky in a good way), fried fish was overcooked and tastes off. Paid $10 for a plate of food and probably ate 1/8 of it. Not to mention the other customers in there today all looked like they haven’t bathed in days or washed their hands in years. Absolutely grossed out to the max. Won’t be back.

Outside looked rough, inside was worse. No waitress/busboy. Plates from previous diners on tables. Food selection was small, and empty. For what they did have, it was decent 5 out of 10.

I got carryout and the floor seemed like it could use a good mopping, but the service was prompt, the food was hot and fresh, and hit the spot. I will be coming back for more peanut chicken!!

👎Food was 1/5. Floors and ceiling were very very dirty. And the AC was not working 🥵.

💡 The buffet in Westfield at 32 and Carey is a bit of a drive but significantly better

Food was very dry and tuff, almost all soda was diluted to the point of tasting nasty. Staff cooked fresh food for them selves while we ate lunch left overs. Never coming back at least it was cheap.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
I’ve never written a google review but this place is so bad, here I am writing my first one to warn other people to avoid this garbage pile.
First off, the AC doesn’t work in here. It’s about 80 degrees and everyone is walking around sweating into the food.
Saw one of the cooks come out in a pair of gym shorts, drenched in sweat, and he got himself a fresh drink out of their soda machine, used his shirt to wipe the sweat off his face and dripped his way back to the kitchen.
Nothing here is edible, and I mean NOTHING.
Terrible food, terrible environment. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog. Called the health department and they told me they’re “fully aware” of the issues with this place. Please don’t try and eat here…it’s so bad.

Building and booth tables all old with rips in seats. Food was not fresh on bar. Opened several fortune cookies and old man who cleaned table chastised us for “the waste”. Would not recommend this place! I will not return.
