Wanted to try brisket for the first time and got a combo platter here. The brisket here was probably the blandest meat I've ever had, I couldn't even eat it as it just had a strange aftertaste. The mac and cheese and corn bread was the only thing I liked. Portions were also small for how much you pay, not that it would matter anyway. Honestly felt ripped off.

I was looking forward to the tips based on the reviews. This is a small place inside of a gas station. Love the restaurant decorations and tables. Staff was friendly.clean. I got tips, corn bread ,baked beans dinner and a pork bowl to go. You know the bbq sauce in frozen dinners? Well those are better than the sauce on the tips. Tasted like tomato sauce with a bit of brown sugar. The tips were cooked to perfection but I just couldn't eat them due to the sauce. Corn bread was bland. Baked beans were good. I wiped off most of the sauce off the top of pork bowl and was surprised that I did enjoy that. There was not enough meat on it but the marchese was good. I will not be back.

I got the rib tips meal with corn bread, baked beans, and collard greens. I got the hot BBQ sauce on my rib tips. It was all very delicious! Some of the best cornbread I’ve ever had! The BBQ sauce has just the right kick to it. Not too hot at all. Portions were amazing!

This review is long over do I called and talked to the owner asked about them coming out to a event i was doing we locked in the date and times and they were going to be the only food vender the day off the event time they wasn't there called and talked to the owner who told me the truck was at another event and they are packing up and will be heading to my location and he ensures that they will be there THEY NEVER SHOWED UP and never answered my calls again I had over 300 hungry people at a memorial event Yes A MEMORIAL EVENT that was a really low thing to do and disrespectful you could of at least been honest and said we can't make it and I might have been able to find someone else but know I was lied too worst place ever I'd never recommend this place to no one wish I could of gave it zero stars SO BEWARE OF THIS PLACE AND DONT SUPPORT THEM THERE A HORRIBLE COMPANY

Wow! So unexpected deliciousness. The brisket was perfect! We had burnt ends, and the brisket bowl. Both delicious. We have tried so many places around the country. This gem is on our top list.

I would not recommend the ribs. My sides were coleslaw and green beans. I would not recommend either of those. The seasoning is not traditional bbq. They were overly salty and the spice was dreadful. It was quite possibly the worst ribs I’ve ever had. There was zero smoke flavor. I bought a full rack of ribs and threw away half of them because they had the texture of beef jerky. The green beans were definitely the worst I’ve ever had, I’m not sure how they prepare them but they need to stop.

I'm from Atlanta. We've been living in Indy for 2 years and all of the barbecue we've tried just couldn't cut it. Porkopolis, you have won my heart! The sauce is amazing! You say it's a twist on barbecue and you are right. I had the pulled pork with green beans and coleslaw. The sides were a different flavor than I've ever had and I loved them. The meat was tender and yummy. We will be back often!

Scheduled them 9 months in Advance for our Fall Festival. They tried to cancel 2 days before the event “due to staffing issues” Friends of Fred put the pressure on them so they actually showed up 2 hours late day of the event. Stayed for 45 min and then left, leaving before lunch leaving hundreds of guests without food. Lie after lie after lie to me and to Friends of Fred. Do not use you have been warned.
