Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Couldn't believe our absolute amazing luck finding our favorite ice cream shop from the east coast in central Indiana! It was 23° outside but we weren't not getting Rita's!!

I absolutely love the Cotton candy shaved ice. It's so delicious. The mango is very good, too. Sour parltch watermelon is decent. Friendly service and decent prices.

We asked a couple walking by where they got their ice cream from and they said “Rita’s is where it’s at.” They weren’t wrong. Frozen custard (pumpkin and cheesecake) was delicious and service was quick and courteous.

I ordered half strawberry lemonade half blue raspberry. The blue was a bit too sweet but the strawberry lemonade was perfect. Staff was nice and friendly.

I had a mix of Chocolate and Cheesecake Custard and it was really creamy and delicious!!! This place is worth going to! Check it out!!!

We went in To try them out. No one greeted us. They had 3 people working , 2 in front , one in back making pretzels. There was a line inside and out. Still the women in back didn’t come to help out. The gentleman finished the outside line and then did not work the inside line and the people who had been waiting. A new woman walked up to outside window line and he waited on her even though inside customers had been there first. Still no greeting or “we will be with you in a moment.”We walked out after waiting in line about 8-10 minutes and the people behinds us , I believe did also.It okay to have slower service when you’re busy, but take first come first serve , and always greet your customer and acknowledge their present when theyve been waiting for 8- 10 minutes.I could not give a fair rating on food or atmosphere because we didn’t get to try the food/ice cream or experience the atmosphere. They did offer a restroom which is nice thing to have available for guest. Had we been greeted I would have tried at another time but since we weren’t, I think we won’t try again.

I tried the chocoholic concrete with oreos and m&ms added. So good! If you love chocolate, definitely give it a try. Kind and helpful staff.

I'm universally a fan of Rita's, and this one hits the mark for my expectations. Refreshing and sweet all at once, especially during a hot summer day.

Loved the frozen chicolate custard!! Only nagging thing in my mind is, that I was not shown the bill on the tablet or given a print out or asked to see if everything looked right or click anything. When I got home, I was thinking that price of small frozen custard was $4.49 but got charged $6.31. That is a 40% tax!!! Did the teen girl behind the counter tip herself without my approval?

Amazing. Worth the drive from Lafayette.Parking is a chore but it's worth it

Love this place always amazing. Little busy, taste is always a 10 for basically every flavor I've tried! And they are open till 10pm which is great for late night walks!
