The Ritz Charles is THE place to have your wedding reception in the Indy area. They are a one stop shop... food, drinks, cake, dance floor, draping, tables/chairs, table clothes, the list goes on... they make it SO easy while making it look easy. WOW! I cannot speak highly enough about the day of on-site staff who will bring your wedding day to life! The wait staff was extremely professionally, polished & worked quickly. The bar lines were never long & dinner moved extremely quick. AND bonus… the food is DELICIOUS!! We really appreciated the indoor and outdoor space of the Ballroom making our 300 guests feel welcome and gave them enough space. We really appreciated that they allowed us to come in the afternoon prior to our wedding day to make sure that the room was set-up. Emily was great to work with for all the pre-wedding preparations leading up to our big day!

I fell in love with the garden pavilion and chapel from an old Instagram post several years ago. Emily was our event specialist for our wedding, she was very great to communicate with from the time we did our tour and the several months following. She was very patient with our many questions as we walked through the wedding planning process. When we booked the Ritz we kept hearing about how “you get what you pay for”. It is an investment. We are happy that what we heard about them and they definitely held up to the praises we heard. The Ritz essentially takes care of all of your needs, even the ones you don’t think of.

The Ritz Charles held our celebration of life event for my brother. From the planning process to the event it couldn't have gone smoother. They think of every detail and it was a great event. The room was full of light with high end details throughout and customized to our needs including an outdoor area. The food was delicous, hot and refilled througout the event. Staff was friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our event a success. I highly recommend this venue.

Our wedding day at the Ritz was everything I dreamed of, it was a fairytale. Elizabeth, our event specialist, was a dream to work with from the time we booked the venue to the day after the wedding to follow up for feedback. Tristen, the Ceremony Director, was so kind and helpful with organizing the ceremony details. All the Pavilion staff were so friendly, helpful, and so quick to help clean up the floor when we had a little flooding on one side of the Pavilion due to a freak torrential storm that blew in during the reception and was beating on the one side of the building. We couldn't imagine our wedding anywhere else and we'll treasure this day forever.

I had a wedding here on 10/8 I want to start with the good It was very beautiful and the day of coordinator was very helpful and kind. As far as the venue itself it was 10/10. Now on to some of the things that I didn’t care for are the fact that we paid for drinks and i specifically made sure to tell the venue coordinator that I wanted at least 200 signature drinks and the day of I found out we only paid for 60 but I was very specific when we did our order that I wanted over 200 drinks despite the cost. Back story less than half of the guest drink alcohol. We paid for all 120 people to have hors d’oeuvres. 2 of the tables (mother of the bride table) did not receive any AND the entire wedding party (14 people) did not as well. My coordinator even talked to one of the managers about this and they never brought any. The icing on the cake was that I only got 1 signature drink that to this day really bugs me because we had a cash bar and I had to pay for drinks for the rest of the night when it was supposed to be enough for everyone that does drink to have at least 3. After all of this I was not going to leave ritz Charles a bad review but then they sent me a bill for $240 for some extras we had after I had already informed them of my complaints.I would have been more than willing to pay but we already were charged for hors d’oeuvres for 30 more people than what we received.

We had such an amazing experience with the Ritz Charles! They helped through every step of the process, answered all of my dozens of questions, and helped us put on the best event. It is a beautiful venue, they are so easy to work with, and every bite of food was INCREDIBLE. I cannot recommend them more highly!!! We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Ritz Charles for our wedding during the total solar eclipse! Finding the perfect venue that would lie along the eclipse path while also fulfilling our vision of a beautiful and natural setting that incorporated the outdoors seemed like a daunting task at first, but the Ritz's Garden Pavilion ticked all of those boxes and so much more! After going over the very reasonable terms and seeing it in-person, we knew that we had stumbled onto the perfect place for us.
We began working with Emily on the details right away and were very impressed by her professionalism, responsiveness, and expertise. Neither of us had been to too many weddings and lacked any knowledge of how to go about planning our own, but Emily helped us figure out how to plan the wedding of our dreams. We really appreciated her insights on even the tiniest of details we would never have considered and her constant availability to answer questions whether by phone or email. Her kindness, patience, and passion for what she does was just icing on the cake!
Speaking of cakes, Ritz Charles includes the wedding cake, all of the food catering, bar tending, and wait staffing in their services! It was such a relief to have those things crossed off of our list of vendors to setup ourselves, and let us just focus on what specific things we wanted at our event. Their extensive menu offers tons of options and also includes a free tasting event in the months leading up to the wedding! The guests we brought with us to the tasting were as blown away as we were by the amazing food, incredible service, and elegant atmosphere.
The actual day of our wedding was everything we could have hoped for and more. The Garden Pavilion looked almost otherworldly in it's breathtaking beauty and set the perfect tone for both our wedding and the spectacular cosmic event we observed later in the day. The ceremony and reception coordinators were both incredibly kind, polite, and helpful throughout the day and happy to do anything we asked of them. Our guests were awed by the impeccable service and dedication shown by every staff member, and we received many compliments both during and after on our choice of venues.
Overall, we can't recommend Ritz Charles enough to anyone looking to create the wedding event of a lifetime. Thank you to Emily and everyone at Ritz Charles for helping us create the most amazing and memorable day of our lives!!!

We used one of the ballrooms for our wedding reception and loved it. The Ritz Charles team is so helpful (shout out to our coordinator Emily Y) and it really took some of the stress off of planning. The venue itself is beautiful and the food is top notch! Highly recommend using them for all or part of your wedding day!

When looking for a wedding venue, we were looking for something that was naturally beautiful (needing minimal decor) and more affordable. This place hit all the boxes!
I didn’t realize how much I would value the planning and day of coordinators. Rachel (my ceremony day of coordinator) especially impressed me! She took the time to connect with the group and constantly reminded me, who is not always comfortable with attention, what the day was really about (me feeling like a princess… and marrying my husband I guess ?)
The only thing I wish I could change is I wish I could outside cater. The cost of a meal significantly outweighed the affordability of the rest of the venue. We ended up going with appetizers only because feeding people was going to cost twice as much as the venue. In addition, we paid for 3 per guest and I had many guests tell me after the fact they were never offered anything or were only offered one item. I feel like I paid a lot for not so much food. And every time I wanted to talk to the reception coordinator, I could not find her. I’m sure she was probably in the kitchen or something but I wish that had been better conveyed to me!
TLDR: All in all, I LOVED having my wedding here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The venue is a steal considering its beauty and amenities. The only lacking portion for me was catering; had many reports of not being offered food that was very costly to provide for the guests.
