Came in at 4:30 on a Monday afternoon, Tevin was our server, he was friendly, but I think he forgot to ring in our salads because we waited almost 25 minutes and then he said they would be right out, then they came out five minutes later and our pizza came out one minute after that and we could tell it had been sitting in the window for a little bit because it wasn’t as hot as it should’ve been out of the oven. Food was great, service could use fine-tuning.
So I grew up and lived in Chicago for 30 years and moved to Indianapolis 12 years ago and feel like I’m constantly on the hunt for trying to find good thin crust pizza as well as deep dish and my wife kids and I drove 30 minutes each way to come give it a shot and see how it was at Roselli’s (which name wise reminded of Rosattis) in Carmel.

We are native Chicagoans and have been trying to find pizza that is edible since we moved to Indianapolis. We found Rosellis 2 years in and it’s THE best! We don’t do deep dish anywhere other than Gino’s because no one can do it better! Rosatis pizza has roots in Italian food back to the 1800’s and Rosellis was born from Rosatis recipes from Schaumburg IL. They still use the Rosatis suppliers and the evidence is in the cheese, sausage and crust. Thin crust is what we tried...
