I am writing to provide feedback regarding a disappointing interaction I had with an employee this afternoon while attempting to use a mobile app promotion. I was attempting to use the current $3 coupon and simply asked the employee if the coupon was applicable to any size drink. The staff member who assisted me was dismissive, stating they were not familiar with the app or how the coupon worked. While I understand that technology can be complex, and I believe Starbucks should improve its training on current mobile promotions, the employee's delivery was unprofessional and very rude. Basic kindness and a willingness to help, or even offer to find someone who could help, were completely absent. This situation reflects poorly on both the company's commitment to fully equipping its staff and the individual employee's customer service skills. I hope this feedback leads to better in-store training regarding promotions and a general reminder to all staff about maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.

No acknowledgment whatsoever from the two people working there and when I finally just stepped closer to the register, the guy just looked at me didn’t smile didn’t say hi, nothing at all. His hair looks sloppy and the customer service sucks.
