We were in Indiana for quick stay and found this gem on Google. We picked the perfect place to have our breakfast and coffee before hitting the road again. If you're near Carmel make sure to stop here!!!
I ordered the Chicken and Waffles, and my wife ordered the Sunny Day Omelette. Both were a little bit on the salty side. The chicken and gravy was good. I was surprised by the quantity of gravy (about 2.5 tablespoons). The waffles were a bit on the bland side and had a slight metallic taste. The biscuits were similar. The coffee was better than average. Service was mediocre. A wouldn’t say they were unfriendly, but I didn’t see anyone smile. The service was efficient. Overall...
Great brunch restaurant! I've been a couple of times and had the corned beef hash, French toast, and the rueben. The rueben is made with the same shredded corned beef as the hash...All were up there on the best I've had. We'll be back!
