This is Cheers for Carmel, IN.

Union keeps on thriving and remains one of the only live music spots in Carmel. Welcoming and friendly space, especially awesome in the summer when you can sit on the patio and enjoy the outdoors. In the winter there are fire pits. Not an actual brewery anymore, but they do have favorites from other local and Michigan brands.

Lots of TVs for sports events, weekly music, open mic and karaoke nights throughout the week. Bring your own food or have it delivered there.

The wall of mugs is from the members, so don’t use if it isn’t yours! Ask your bartender how to join!

Great place for live music, beers, watching games, and a very friendly atmosphere. I can bring my dog and enjoy myself.

This is Carmel’s only live music venue. Phenomenal local music from local artist and bands. It’s also like walking into Cheers! The patrons/regulars are super friendly and you felt welcome. Sports on every TV during the season…even if your team is out of state. The owners are very attentive to the patrons, and have an awesome beer selection with seltzers, wine and ciders. The Mug Club wall is probably the best I’ve ever seen…impressive. You can’t find a better place listen to music and find some great friends. The Midwest’s finest and very impressed with the Indiana hospitality! Love this place!

The dichotomy of the owners versus the staff and patrons is just irony defined. Had a great time talking to randos and vibing, but the owner and his friends had “opinions” that are off putting at best…

Let’s just say it’s a “red hat, red hate” crew trying to vibe as a hippy bar. It’s completely dishonest and insulting.

In good conscience, I can’t spend my honest money there.

I suggest you avoid. There much better beer and vibes nearby.

Staff is very friendly. Let me use their bathroom without purchasing anything. That doesn’t happen often now a days. Thank you!

If there was a place to call your favorite place in Carmel, it would have to be UBC. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun while keeping that low key vibe. Free live music on weekends is a great selling point. The bartenders Naomi, Cory, Keith, and Cody are truly some of the best in town. The owners, Jess and Derek are involved and love to keep people coming back. It’s refreshing to have a business like this so close to home. Come share a beer and a laugh anytime!

One of my favorite places to grab a beer with my husband and dog. Relaxed atmosphere, dog-friendly, and the workers and patrons have always been so friendly. There is great live music if you catch them on the right night (shout out to Forget The Name Band!). And I love sitting outside by the fire pit on a cool fall evening.

Union Brewing is always a great place to gather. The band, Forget The Name, made our night truly enjoyable at Union Brewing. The playlist was filled with songs through the decades that were all favorites of everyone in the bar. The crowd sang along to every song. They are extremely talented and highly entertaining!

Awesome little bar with lots going on! The staff is friendly, the vibe is chill and no frills, the patio is fantastic for dogs and for people watching along the Monon, and they have all sorts of live music throughout the weekends. The drink menu has something for everyone - one of my fave bars in Carmel for sure!! If you want the classic, chill, garage brewery vibe this is where you wanna be!

One of stops off the monon bike trail. Highly disappointing mostly due to the server. Sept 17 around 5 to 6p. Highly standoffisish. One word answer or point to the water. Asked about the very minimal craft beer description and she had attitude. Not only in her tone but facial gestures. Just mean kinda. Not knowledgeable on beer. Nor an attempt to be helpful. Made me uncomfortable there the rest of the time.. did not like the beer taste.
