My husband and I enjoyed dinner on your patio. The area was quiet and the music was nice. This was the second Upland we have visited and I will definitely return. The food is fantastic...particularly the inferno burger! The waitress was friendly and very helpful when it came to helping us choose a great beer from the large list of choices...but what will truly bring me back to this restaurant is the fact that their service is fast and they have one particular amazingly honest employee who went out of her way to find me on messenger and notified me that she found my purse and tucked it safely away until I could return to get it. Olivia Marr, The Upland Carmel Tap House is blessed to have an honest hard working employee such as yourself. Thank you for being all that is still good in this crazy world. May your kindness be returned to you 10 fold!

We are regulars on the weekend. 10/10 experience every single time. Not just because the food is OUTSTANDING (brunch and lunch) but Sarah keeps us coming back. She’s the glue to this place - knows us by name, treats us like family, and always shares a good laugh.

Traveling from Michigan and came across Upland Brewing. Stopped in for a beer and a quick snack. The Juiced in Time Haze IPA and Two of Tarts sour were both amazing. The staff were great! And the food was tasty, we will definitely be back and highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Tenderloin sandwich was amazing and Darby was a fantastic server! Personable and knowledgeable abkut the drinks and menu.

Stopped for a quick meal on our visit to Carmel. We were on a bit of a time crunch, and Darby our server was very efficient and friendly. Appreciated being able to sample a few beers which allowed us to find ones that we really liked. Good selection of beer with good variety. The food was good with nice sized portions. Overall a good experience and somewhere we would return to in the future.

Disappointing Nacho Experience
I’ve had my fair share of nachos, but this was hands down one of the worst plates I’ve encountered. The tortilla chips were overwhelmingly salty—so much so that I had to send the dish back. It was like eating spoonfuls of salt.
Visually, the presentation was unappealing. The plate was dominated by black beans with barely any other toppings in sight. Cheese was scarce, and what should have been a vibrant mix of flavors and textures ended up feeling one-dimensional. A single, unappetizing blob of guacamole on top did little to improve the dish.
Nachos should be a balance of crispness, richness, and freshness. This missed the mark on all fronts.

Part of our team stopped for lunch and it was great. It wasn’t super busy when we walked in but it progressively got busier through our lunch. Shout out to our waiter Zachary who got slammed but dealt with it with a smile on his face. His last shift before his birthday and all hell broke loose 😂 Happy Birthday Zach, we will light a candle for you 🥳
This place was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The service was not just bad — it was chaotic and downright disrespectful. Multiple servers bumped into our table (and into us) while rushing by, without so much as an apology. At one point, a server shattered a plate with our food on it, and a shard actually cut someone's leg at our table. No one checked on us or offered anything to make it right. To make matters worse, the staff was audibly arguing with each other in the background the entire time. It made for an incredibly uncomfortable dining atmosphere, like we were caught in the middle of their drama. Our server seemed annoyed to even be dealing with us, and the overall attitude from the team was careless and unprofessional.
I was greeted when I walked in. Great customer service. I wasn't a fan of the sandwich. I ordered a sprite but it tasted like syrup so I stuck with water. The food was hot. I sat outside under the umbrella and enjoyed the scenery. I then ordered a brownie for dessert. It tasted like it was either freezer burned or it had been sitting in the refrigerator for days. This was my first visit at this location. I've been to the one in castleton several times before.
