For a Friday night that was not busy, it was probably one of the worst dining experiences we have had there. Our server took over 20 minutes before she ever came to our table ... we asked other servers standing around for drinks, and one of our first food order was wrong. Definitely an off night for a place that has been good in the past.

Honestly best local Mexican restaurant I’ve experienced in a long time. The menu was very creative. The food was excellent with a great variety of choices. Not just your typical taco menu but an upscale version of legitimate Mexican food. Servings were very generous. Service was excellent! Very attentive! Atmosphere adorable! Will totally go back

So many great items on the menu! Everything was delicious, and our waitstaff was amazing.
I had the fajitas but never received my tortillas. It was ok, I just ate them without. I was, however, a bit disappointed in the beans. They were not very flavorful, but the steak, shrimp, and chicken were very good!
The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was lovely. It is very cozy and the dim lighting makes it feel intimate even though it was crowded and busy.
Street parking was fine. The plants were a bit wild and gangly, making egress to your car like walking through a grassland, but that is on the city, not the restaurant.

Service is always bad. Second time we have come with a reservation and the restaurant takes forever to get us a table. Hostess ignores and walk ins get tables first.

I called ahead of time and reserved a table. When we got there the people standing ahead of us also called ahead but were told they needed to wait another 25 minutes, and then they told us the same thing. The people that came after us (who also reserved) were told they needed to wait as well. Then two individuals who appeared to be friends with a server got to cut the line and were sat before everyone even though they had no reservation or anything. I overheard the entire conversation. Extremely unprofessional by the staff and the manager did not handle it well when he was called out for the way he treated everyone waiting.
