The chicken tacos with Cajun tater tots was very good. The pork schnitzel sandwich was awesome. Pork nachos were decent also. We sat on the outdoor patio but check out the cool main dining room.

Abby was fantastic! We found this place on TikTok and had to venture over to it. Food was delish and did not disappoint. We were the first guests of the day, so got to chat with Abby a bit. She was lovely and very kind. She also gave us a tour of the library part as only outside seating was open when we arrived.

Meh. Food was subpar and they sent out burnt toast. I was shocked the kitchen would send out burnt toast. The only reason 2 stars is because the waitress was pleasant and apologized for the burnt food. It was also cold on their porch and heaters weren’t working.

We were in town for a followup appointment at the local hospital. This was our first time to see the old downtown area of Carmel. I ordered the grilled cheese and green beans. The sandwich was delicious and the green beans were seasoned perfectly. My husband had a salad and a cup of the lemon chicken and rice soup. The soup was delicious and it too was seasoned really well. Our waiter was Randy and he was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our lunch and will return to experience the dinner menu.

Love the variety on the menu, the multiple dining areas and the way the history of the building has been preserved. Woodys has been a favorite of mine in downtown Carmel for a while now!

WE have been going here for close 20 years. The staff is always great and welcoming. My daughter loves going here a lot not only because of the staff being incredibly nice to her but of course the food. The soups are always unique and yummy but honestly everything I have ever had has been very good. Love sitting outside especially because it can be temperature controlled quickly. They are always accommodating when we get too cold or hot to adjust fans, heater or windows. The downstairs bar is also a great time to hang out with friends. Small enough to enjoy a cocktail with no huge crowd. Owners have always been nice and make a point to chat and thank you for coming A++++++ all the way!
Have been a patron of Woody’s for years. The bar is cozy, the dining room is quaint, the patio is roomy. The menu is not extensive, but what they do, they do well. It is a dependable good meal in a pleasant setting. Have also met owner Kevin and found him to be friendly and polite.
