“It's a quaint place where you can get a blue collar lunch at a fair price. Dogs, burgers, polish, gyros except, I have yet to find a pork chop sandwich on their menu. Clean dining room. Car memorabilia all over, which as a car guy, I think is friggin awesome. What's more awesome is the show of patriotism AND the whacky, inflatable, arm-flailing tube man on the roof!

No other restaurant is willing to have that much fun with their exhaust. The owners definitely have fun with this building and sweat their A-55's off serving great food at competitive prices.... AND THEY HAVE A FRICKIN WHACKY, INFLATABLE, ARM-FLAILING TUBE MAN ON THE ROOF! COME ON, WHO CAN'T LOVE THAT?!🤣👍🏻🇺🇸♥️“

“We stopped here today after visiting the Shrine in St. John, we are from out of town and tried to find something to eat quick because our kids were hungry. OMG! IT WAS SO GOOD. They were SO fast with getting our food out, and it was so tasty! The burgers were big, juicy, delicious. Fries were hot and crispy. I'm so glad we stopped here!!! Highly recommend.“

My order was ready I asked the girl at the window if there were two gravies and honey mustards in there and she said yes. When I asked her to please check she refused and said she guarantees they're in there. But when I got home and sat down to eat I opened the box Niether were there! When I called to complain cuz this is the second time this has happened to me but I got a stupid recording!! I'm so disgusted ! “I'm lovin it at this McDonalds. Their new Shake Machine is reliable and the ice cream actually looks soft served rather than something that was molded with concrete. Further, late night treatment was hot fries. Great place to get food on the go. Expectation and appetite satisfied.“

“My sister and I were working at the fair, and we had to go pick up a few things , so we stopped for lunch.
As you know, you can only eat and afford so much fair food.
We stopped here at Schoops, they make the best Burgers and French fries.
The service was the best I've had at a Schoops. The server was very friendly and happy, it showed she enjoyed her job. Which makes it better for the customers.
The food was fresh and hot. And it tasted so good...

Parking: Parking is very limited. They definitely need more parking.“

Yum! This is one of the few food establishments that I know of, (🤔maybe the only) that has/dispenses *Green River as a soda on their menu! 💚 My son loves the stuff!!! “The upstairs bartender, Aaron C. does the work of 2 bartenders. I sat at the bar...he served me my lunch. He was very friendly and fast. The upstairs was loaded with like 50 guests from a baseball team? So he was VERY busy. But that didn't stop him from speed, accuracy and friendliness! Best bartender ! He deserves a raise!“

“It was no waiting upon arrival at the Merrillville location. Haven't been here in years, that you place your own order and seat yourself now. The restaurant is clean and organized. The music plays at a good volume where you can still have a conversation at the table. It was wonderful to be greeted by Tiffany and her son with smiles. To the young lady who frowns bringing the orders, hope she can find a smile. Our food was fresh and hot. The bathroom was smelly upon using to wash my hands before eating. Their was hair on the floor in the first stall. To the guy who sweeps the floor as soon as the customers are done, good job and keep it up. I didn't catch his name. Thank you to the entire team telling us to have a good night as the family left the restaurant.“

“The service today at Red Robin was absolutely outstanding. The workers went above and beyond for Veteran’s Day. They had a backdrop for photos, letter making for service members, a remembrance table set up, management went table to table to show appreciation and give a gift, and all of the staff was just amazing. This was our first time visiting this location in probably about 8 years, but we will definitely be back more often. I also have to mention that the burgers were delicious 🙂 Thank you!“

“This five guys is great, my scatter brain forgets they have cajun frys, and do extra bacon for free, I forgot to ask for both. 5 minutes after ordering i asked if I could switch frys and add extra bacon. They did it no problem with a smile. The food is great I've never had a bad burger from here. Highly recommended.“

“This is the best Dairy Queen around. Friendly staff with fast service and no screwed up orders. Everything here is 20-40% cheaper than the St John and Schererville locations. A box of 6 dilly bars cost $8.99 in Dyer. A box of dilly bars in St. John cost $17.99 and $16.99 in Schererville. The Schererville store ice cream quality is terrible, the blizzards are watery every time ive been there and ive been there around 20 times“

“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“
