Ordered a BLT club. The waitress accidentally thought I ordered no tomato - because the person before me ordered a sandwich with no tomato. Which is fine- mistakes happen. But then, when I pointed it out- she brings me a singular slice of tomato on a plate- for my giant BLT club. So, I had to tell them that I needed a new sandwich, (mind you, I did not eat a single bite of the first sandwich they brought me) âŠand they brought me a plain Jane BLT (not a club). But, I still had to pay for the club. I honestly question whether or not she did it on purpose, but I donât know why she would do that. Food was good enough though.

We were there for their grand opening and ribbon cutting. Had the catfish and fries along with a side salad. Definitely recommend Tony's Diner.

Wanted to give them a try. Went in two customers and nt a worker in sight until the customers yelled for them. Server took our order. County fried steak and eggs for me, omelet for hubby. Come back with food set it down and didn't see her again until we were done eating. Food was barely warm, potatoes were cold and barely cooked. And $40.00 for two. I am sure that we won't be back.

I have nothing bad to say, we were promptly seated, once we decided what to order it arrived very quickly. Not only was the food delicious but there was plenty of it at a very good price, everyone we talked to was friendly and courteous.

So I normally do not complain but todays service was not great. I feel like it was more of a lack of understanding than anything. The place was fairly empty so it wasnât a âbusyâ situation. My husbandâs food came out like 5 minutes before mine, not sure why. We witnessed the waitress pick up another customerâs toast with her bare hand to see if it was buttered.
The waitress was on the phone a good deal of the time with another employee who didnât show up. Apparently the no show was due to the fact the employee didnât know it was Wednesday?!? That was very unprofessional and should have been handled outside of the view and earshot of customers.
She was friendly to us but I feel that these items could be used as a teaching tool for the staff to improve.
Itâs a decent little diner, food and service is okay, not great. Itâs definitely overpriced though! $56 for two people to eat?! $3 for a cup of coffee with less than 6 ounces, $14 for two slices of subpar pie, and to top it all off a card fee?! At $7 a slice they can eat the cost of the debit card!
