2 1/2 hours after ordering food — still no food.
Got up and left. Wait staff laughed at us as we left.
Completely unprofessional.
Arrived at 7 PM on Friday night and we were told they would have a table ready for us pretty quick even though it was busy. We didn’t get seated until almost 9 PM. We had a party of 11 and we ordered our food. They came back and said they couldn’t handle our order so we could only order appetizers. We arrived around 6pm and placed our order on the rooftop. It wasn’t busy at the time, but we watched multiple tables who arrived after us receive their food while we continued to wait. At 6:30, we were told our order was second in line and would be out shortly. By 6:47, after following up again, we were suddenly told there were now three orders ahead of us.

Park Pavilion is a restaurant with a unique atmosphere. The salmon salad is a standout dish, with fresh and flavorful salmon combined with crisp greens and tangy dressing. The event space on the second floor is beautiful, with large balconies overlooking Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. The food is generally good, with tender dishes. However, there have been some issues with service, including a false alarm that caused diners to exit the premises. Despite this, the restaurant remains a unique and special spot for events and dining.
