Service was excellent. 3 of the 4 in our party ordered a chicken dish. The server came back to the table to tell us they were out of chicken. What we ordered was very good but not what we had wanted. The grilled cheese app and desserts were outstanding as always.
The tomato and horseradish soup is different than the last time we dined here. This version has less horseradish (only a slight hint of horseradish flavor) and is more chunky than the creamy former recipe. We loved the old recipe but not so much the new recipe. I ordered pork medallions. The flavor was very good but they were under cooked. My wife had the chicken and noodles. The new recipe was more like a soup. We had to ask for a spoon. Went with a small group (4) of work colleagues after a wedding. Generally a good experience minus a longer than usual wait to be seated despite having a reservation and the restaurant not being very busy. There was also a significant wait (20+ minutes each time) between ordering and receiving drinks
