I just wanted to thank you for a Fabulous start to my birthday weekend. Your food was delicious as always- especially the Cole slaw & Mac & cheese. once you found out it was my birthday going the extra step of handing me a birthday card with handwritten signatures really made my day. Always great conversations It's obvious you really care for your customers. Please give grandma a hug for that delicious gooey butter cake!

Waited for our food for 45 minutes only for it to be completely wrong. Then waited another 20 minutes for them to try and correct it, we ended up leaving because our daughter needed a nap after sitting there for over an hour. Three stars because in the past they’ve been great but today was awful. There was only one other family in the restaurant.

Great place! Some of the juiciest pulled pork that I’ve ever had. Sweet tea, cornbread, and delicious cake! I would not recommend the brisket however, way too dry.
Also the inside dining room is awesome - lots of old artifacts and antiques make this place a must visit. I’d drive a good distance to come back!

Was here earlier today and we came from out of town staying at white river campground. I ordered the nachos and my husband got the burger with like 3 meats on it. Small hometown BBQ joint. Had some good flavor to the food. You order at the front and then go choose your sitting if your staying there to eat. The green beans and macaroni sides were good that my husband ordered. And the nachos are loaded with different kinda of meat choices. I would definitely come back in the future whenever I am nearby.

The atmosphere screamed homemade fresh. I was excited to try the shredded chicken, potato salad, and kettle chips. The wait was about half an hour with me and another waiting in the dining room. But who cares if it’s fresh made, that’s expected. BBQ sauce was in dispensers on table. Very average tasting. The kettle chips were bagged not fresh made . Potato salad was very grocery deli flavored. The roll/bun for one sandwich was very small. This was a great disappointment. Definitely not a $16 meal. But maybe it is in Indy.
The pulled pork sandwich was excellent, as was the original sauce. It seems the waitress forgot I was there so I waited longer than usual. However, she apologized & offered a free side!

A group of us from Northern IN rode down & when it was time to eat I googled places to eat. BBQ sounded good to everyone so that's where we went. Not a bad choice either. Everyone had something different, the food was excellent! We could smell the food before we even walked in, I knew then it was gonna be good. We will make the trip back again! I would definitely get the baked beans again along with any of the meats!
