The service was excellent. The place was dim but clean. Got brisket and pulled pork to go. The meat was super tender but was void of any flavor. Price was average for bbq. If you like soft meat, can't have salt or prefer to bathe you food in bbq sauce for taste, this is the place.
I've been coming to Cicero regularly since October of 2024. Unfortunately, it has almost always been when this place is closed on Sundays. I finally got to go on a Thursday when they were open.
Walk in and you are treated to a great smoke flavor olfactory scent! It smells delicious as soon as you walk in. The visual is awesome as well. No table is the same. Very eclectic decor that is a reminder of southern hospitality.

Beyond the fact that this is the best BBQ I’ve ever had, the sides and service truly set this place apart. I’m going to be dreaming about that cornbread! Even items we usually skip, like that style of mac & cheese, blew us away. The meats were perfectly cooked, and the sauces were spot-on. The experience started perfectly thanks to the incredible owner who walked us through the menu. We’re so glad we found this place and are already planning to come back with friends...
