We love taking friends & family to Dark Side Roasters. It’s got all the charm you would expect in a lakeside community while also serving delicious coffee and fresh baked goods. The employees are fun, friendly and the service is fast.
Coffee taste is pretty basic, I've never had a drink that was amazing. But they're good enough to go back because it's in a great spot. Their food is way more affordable than most coffee places. Cute little spot!

Cute coffee shop in a cute town! The food choices at this coffee shop were fantastic & they had a fall menu for drinks. I had the spinach & feta quiche and an Asiago bagel with cream cheese along with a maple cold brew with cold foam. My friend got the pumpkin spiced latte, breakfast sandwich & a s’mores brownie to go. All of the food was great & we really liked the latte. It is a peaceful vibe inside with some seating by the windows.

I walked in with my 10lb service animal and was immediately greeted with a dirty look and bad energy Was told to wait outside, went back in and another employee gave me another dirty look and said no animals allowed I stated he was a service animal and she said why I said ptsd she then came at me with such aggressive negative energy and kept talking I said my daughter is getting married tomorrow please stop talking I’m blocking your energy is agressive and negative She would not stop I said do you think this is good for someone with ptsd She said I’m not allowed back I can see why this place is called “darkside”

We got the honey iced latte, rainbow bagel, and a chocolate chip cookie. The employees were very friendly and service was fast. I own a coffee shop/bakery in another town that roasts our own beans so am very picky about my lattes and baked goods. Most of the time I end up disappointed when I go to other cafes but not this time. Everything was amazing! Can’t wait until my daughter has another game up in Cicero so I have an excuse to come back.

We think this is the best coffee shop in northern Hamilton county. The staff is friendly and everyone seems well trained. The seasonal specialty drinks are always creative and delicious. Their foods and treats are delicious and not overpriced. Seems like we can usually find a seat at a clean table.
