I got a Mediterranean veggie sandwich, which is my favorite. Unfortunately, the cucumbers were not crispy. The bread was a little soggy, too.
My daughter LOVED the tomato soup bread bowl!!! I wish they have a little more soup for the bread bowl option.

“Many thanks to Soupy's who Catered our Christmas Dinner today at our Church. Everything was Hot, Fresh, and DELICIOUS! We had the Potato Soup, the Beef Veggie Soup and the Chili. Our Sandwich choices were Ham and Turkey with plenty of toppings and 2 different kinds of cheese. I HIGHLY Recommend Soupy's for your Catering Needs!“

“It was our second time going we drove from indiana. The cuts of meat are horrible. My boyfriend could only eat a few bites of his food last night because the meat was SO fatty he even asked the girl to leave out the tendon he would pay whatever it costs but did not want that in his food but I the pho was full of tendon cuts and full of fat. I had the honey Siracha chicken(b8) the taste was 11/10 but the chicken was sooooo dry and over cooked I couldn’t finish it my jaw was starting to hurt. I will say the first time the staff was more pleasant but the second time we came the place was hands down 100% cleaner then it was the first time so I’m not sure if we just keep catching this place at a bad time but so far I have not had a great experience.“

Clean, quiet, super friendly staff and fantastic food at good prices. Location on Southside can be a bit congested but you can sneak right out onto Strawberry for a light or a detour.

“My coworker and I went to order a soup and salad and left very disappointed. It was a rainy day, perfect for soup. Mind you, there is a Nopal right across that makes delicious soup. We could have gone there. But no, we decided to go come here even though it’s more expensive. We go in, they seemed to be very busy preparing a large order so we just stood in front of the line waiting for one of the employees to greet us. There were 4. Not one bothered to say, “ One of us will be right with you. Give us just a minute.” We waited a few minutes more until it just seemed disrespectful. Since it seemed like no one was going to acknowledge us we left and went to El Nopal. I’m giving the business 5 stars because I know how much it takes to bring your standing up when you get 1 star. My intention is not to hurt the business but to make the owner aware that your employees are giving potential customers a very bad customer experience. And at the end of the day, with so many options out there, I would be very interested in keeping my customers. This was on 10/27/25 at 2:28 approximately.“

I ordered the kabob platter with rice and a side of their cucumber yogurt, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the rice was fluffy with just the right amount of saffron flavor. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the meal felt hearty but clean.

Service was efficient and friendly, and the staff seemed genuinely invested in making sure everyone had what they needed. The only reason I’m holding back from a full five stars is that the dining area felt a little cramped during peak hours, and it could get a bit noisy. Still, the food more than made up for it. Moby Dick is a great spot when you’re in the mood for something flavorful and satisfying without breaking the bank.“
