The atmosphere was great if you were a local, for us who were just coming through to get a decent meal in a decent rated place we were met with cold shoulders and long wait times. I wasn’t expecting fast food speeds but 40 minutes for two places of spaghetti and a hot dog seems insane for a place that had made 10 patrons total in it.

If you’re a local I’d say this place is probably for you! As someone from out of town I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food and service. Stopped through on a road trip for my birthday. Extremely friendly staff and local community. Loved the fact my friend and I were called friends by the staff. In return I would like to say thank you for having us FRIENDS!!!

Semi-decent local establishment. Locals we asked love it, but as travelers in town for a wedding, it wasn't what I expected. Two of us had the fish platter but I've never had soggy fried fish before. My sister did say the sweet tea was great

This is our go-to restaurant when we are near Cloverdale. I love the tenderloin and the Beef Manhattan. It's a cozy little family diner with friendly staff and good food. I would recommend stopping here if you are passing through. Good home style cooking.

Ordered a steak, well done. Took 50 min to get our food & steak was rare. to send it back. By the time I received my steak, my friends were finished eating so i brought it home. They did throw in another potato & roll becoz i had already ate those with my salad. They also took $10 off of our bill which was nice but we had to ask different waitress to bring our salads & the restaurant wasn't busy at the time.
We were there an hour & 40 min total which is way too long. Unfortunately this is the 2nd x in a month that I've been there & the service has been extremely slow.i would've thought a steak coming directly off of the grill would've been sizzling but that wasn't the case. My friends food (steak & burger) were not very hot either).
I love small mom & pop restaurants & I look for reasons to give positive reviews but after the 2nd time, I'm giving an honest review.

This is the best place around for local fare, home cooking and the best Tenderloin I’ve ever had.
Fried mushrooms darn near the size of golf balls too.

Stop in and see Susie, she’ll take good care of ya.
