It’s a shame that after 20 years on the road this was my first stop at Coverdale travel stop. The kitchen was outstanding. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly and staff was super nice. Reminded me of the stories the old timers tell of quality truck stop diners. The store was adequately stocked and prices were a bit lower than the big name truck stops. I did my 34 hour reset here and had no problem finding parking at 23:00 plus no one bothered me about parking fees. I’ll definitely...
Really nice restaurant and good home comfort food. Parking is FREE outback for tractor trailers on and if you fuel more than 100 gallons you get $10 cash.The server (Karen) was working as the busser as well as the lady who cashes you out. I love that this is like an Old School Truck Stop except that it is owned by foreigners and eventually might be serving curry. "I hope not." I had a Spanish omelet for breakfast, and it was excellent. They didn't skimp on cheese or anything it was loaded with ham, sausage, and vegetables and cooked right, not under or over cooked.
