Having moved to Columbia City 6 weeks ago, and eaten at several local eatery; The Square is our favorite! It is our weekly go to, and sometimes 2x in a week. Incredible food, awesome staff, and so so friendly! I would like to see grilled or roast Brussel Sprouts on menu. 😃

It looked really nice. Was convertible seating. The simple cheese burger was chard and it tasted accordingly. Fresh were goog and crispy but no flavor or salt. As far as service it took 45 min to get are food with only 5 customers in the building. I am thinking they had the bar waiting are table and it was very difficult getting ahold of them. Ended up having to get up and find someone just so we could pay and leave after waiting 10 minutes. Hopefully it was just a one off and it was a bad day. My wife liked her salad and mother inlaw said her food tasted a little weird but dont know what she got.

I ordered the chef salad and when it was brought I noticed it had no eggs. When I asked about them I was told they were out of eggs. Communication is key, it would have been nice to know about their egg shortage as I would have ordered something else. After waiting for 40 minutes for the salad in the first place I didn’t feel like waiting another hour for a revised order.
