The employees are super nice and good at their jobs but the manager or owner or whatever he is…is absolutely horrible and rude. I came in recently to place an order and he was talking to a “friend” so loudly that the employee taking my order could barely hear me. Not only were they talking loudly but cursing, in front of everyone. This isn’t the first time I’ve come in to something like this.

I placed an online order and they thought they would be funny and put an insane amount of (the wrong) sauce on one of my sandwiches. So much that you couldn’t see a single topping. So much that the entire wrapper was soaked through. I assume because I didn’t tip - be mad at Subway for not paying you enough, I’m not tipping you for spending 60 seconds making a sandwich. I live 30 minutes away so I just threw it out. When I called they claimed there was not a manager there.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered an Outlaw steak sandwich (the only difference with this one versus the regular one is double cheese). The workers stated they were out of peppers, but offered to cut one up ad-hoc for my sub, which I appreciated especially as it was at 12:15 during lunch hours. The issue came when I tried to use a coupon. The apparent owner/manager (a female) did not want to honor the coupon stating it was not a covered sub. It was not listed on the coupon as excluded so this was certainly a bait-and-switch, so I had to argue my case as the sub was already being toasted. She begrudgingly gave me the coupon's price, but commented under her breath that "I must not understand the difficulties of a small business". While I empathize, as I do own a small business, I honor my advertised coupons/prices. If you don't want to take coupons, then don't, but also don't buy a Subway franchise. They receive business based on their name and reputation. Moreover, if you see other comments below, apparently it is ownership/management that is causing business decline as they are rather obstinate and rude to customers. In all, the food was good and the employees were friendly and helpful, but ownership/management needs to reconsider owning a business that is customer-facing and uses discount advertising, such as a Subway franchise.

The food is good. Just like any other Subway you'd expect.They pick and choose what coupons you can use and what food you can get with the coupons you have. If you have a $6.99 Footlong coupon, you have a choice between 5-6 subs, not the entire menu. I'm not happy about that at all. Especially when you're on a budget and want Subway.

We really like going the Chicago Street location. The food is usually really good though sometimes they skim on toppings especially close to closing. It all depends on who's working.I do hate the fact that they send coupons in the mail but just about all of them they do not take them.The most thing I hate about the Chicago Street location is they are never open hardly. When it says on their website and through Alexa the time they open/close then that should be the time. Instead they open and close when they feel like it. The other location in this town stays open longer but doesn't have the nicest people and closes early sometimes. The bread is sometimes hard as well.Wish I could give better ratings but if anything fix your hours on your website and stick to them.Dietary restrictions: Would like to see more healthy options for diabetics and people with high cholesterol.

One of the staff was yelling and using words like a sailor about an issue she was having with a manager that wasn't present there were small children present and she had no consideration for them or any of the customers.

We chose this location over the Chicago street location because online it said they honor the coupon available. It wasn't until we had made our subs and were about to check out that it said it did not include the coupon. No biggie, We placed our order anyway. We went to pick it up and there was a handwritten note on the door that the toaster was down. My husband went in to make sure that we could still get our steak subs And to ask if we needed to change subs ordered. The woman exclaimed it would be no problem they could make our subs just not toast our bread. When he entered the store the girl had a mess of Chipotle all over the counter. When we got our subs my husband's was drenched in chipotle sauce to the point that he could not finish it.. We were just highly disappointed. Don't get me wrong? I personally understand running a business can be a headache sometimes and you can have your hands full, But to run two mediocre businesses versus one really decent one is mind boggling to me. In the past I have let the little things slide & always went back. But for $15 a sub and the service & hassle it always seems to be. We won't be returning to our local locations.
