Yummy Bowl is a unique spot in Columbus with fantastic and delicious food. The uniqueness lies in how you get your food if you do a bowl, with the ability to pile on your portions with what you want and how much you want. The bowls and the sushi are amazing and very tasty, including the Alaskan roll. The bar is well stocked with plenty of fresh vegetables and meat items to choose from, with plenty of seasoning. The food is always hot and delicious when served, and there is often enough left over for a second meal.
The service is quick and courteous, with servers fast to get to the table. However, some feel ambushed when walking in and then pushed out the door quickly, wishing for more time to look at the full menu. On one visit, a waitress was visibly annoyed when a whole table ordered waters. The atmosphere feels kind of stale compared to other locations of similar cuisine.
For families, the kids menu is limited to overpriced chicken nuggets and fries. It is easy to spend too much on a bowl due to prices not being near the food at the bowl bar. Groups of five or more will be charged an 18% gratuity. A real nice plus is the beer, as foods like this taste better with a beer in the mix. Overall, it is a great choice with fantastic food, and many plan to return.
