Very disappointing when you walk into the restaurant at 7:57 and the sign says they’re open till eight. They have every chair up on the tables and tell you that they’re closed. We just got done showing at the fairgrounds and the kids were very disappointed that they were not able to get ice cream and food. When your sign says you’re open till 8 o’clock you take orders up until 8 o’clock.
Always clean and friendly staff. Great food choices and ice cream. Worth the trip from Greentown. 👍😎

Love this place! I rode my bicycle 18 miles from the 10th street entrance in Jonesboro just to get a twist cone with rainbow sprinkles! Awesome atmosphere, awesome place. Highly recommend!!!
Parking: I locked my bike to one of the benches.

Needed a jacket in this ice cream shop. Filled with high school kids servers and a little bit of a wait time but an enjoyable place to sit together inside or outside.

Came for Old Fashioned ice cream soda. With hard chocolate ice cream. It was made vanilla. Only thing employee said is OH & Oops. & did not offer to resolve & went on about other business. To that employee. I was given bad news this day. Diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. & not able to eat solid food. And my Sister drove over 50 miles. To bring me to your establiment specificaly. To try & put smile on my face. So please take PRIDE in your job & self. No matter how bad your day is. Someone else day just may be worse.

This is what a small town ice cream shop is like. Shuts down in winter, opens in spring, and everyone always floods in.
Was at out Amboy location and wanted to try something different for lunch, so I drove over here. I was told the tenderloins were the best.
So, tenderloin is good. It's not super thin but not very thick. Equal breading and meat. Converse Indiana, it is probably the best in the area. The potato wedges I got with the tenderloin were okay. They were smaller and just frozen, then deep-fried wedges. The fries looked better. I also got a cherry coke, which was syrup added to the coke. The way cherry coke should be.
Next time, I want to try the bald eagle.
