Quick service and yummy breadsticks
It's been 12 years since we had this pizza... And it definitely was just as we remembered. We used to live down the road and have their pizza weekly. But we moved so far away. Pizza kings down here just aren't the same. This was the best pizza. Maybe because it had been so long... But I like a lot of sauce and I love those who aren't afraid to put it on there... Just wish I would of bought 2 so I could of took one home. Thanks for an amazing pizza y'all.

Sorry but this is a sad excuse for a pizza king. Pizza tasted like something I could have made at home and what is with the bread sticks. Went there expecting my usual awesome pizza and bread sticks. What I got was severe disappointment.

The breadsticks tasted frozen and looked frozen. Food is nothing like we get in Anderson. We were charged for a huge sandwich meal when we just wanted the 8”. The tomatoes on the sandwich were chopped. Next to no lettuce. The breadstick were also made incorrectly. Woman behind counter seemed dazed and confused. Will never go there again. $45 1 sandwich, 1 personal pizza, 2 breadsticks. No drinks!

Ordered carry out over the phone on a Tuesday evening, July 2 2024 at Converse restaurant. Employee seemed dazed and confused about my simple order : 1 medium supreme with extra cheese. Upon pickup discovered pizza was burnt to a crisp, black around the edges , literally, no extra cheese. Ordinarily great food. Very disappointing this trip .

The food was delicious. The place has turned around since the last time I ate there. It was busy took just a little bit extra time .

Where to begin? Atmosphere: terrible. Guessing it was 90 degrees inside while 30 degrees outside. Asked manager to prop open door but he refused, citing the alarm system. So he just expected us to sit and swelter, waiting for our food. Cleanliness: terrible. The floor and entry rug were FILTHY. Bread sticks: they weren't bread sticks. They were bread bites. The so-called cheese on them wasn't real cheese. It wasn't even fully melted. The taste was bland and the bread was under-cooked. My wife and I left it uneaten, hoping the pizza would better. No such luck. Pizza: no sauce, bottom of crust was over-cooked, toppings were under-cooked, almost raw. How is that even possible? We were the only customers in the dining room (now I know why) so there was no pressure on the man cooking the pizza. The final product tasted like a cheap frozen pizza near its expiration date. We left over half of the pizza on the table, uneaten....didn't even want to box it for later. Oh, I almost forgot. My wife wanted a side of pizza sauce. I asked for an order, fully expecting to pay. I was brought a micro-sized plastic cup of ketchup! When confronted about it, the manager said the ketchup and pizza sauce were in unmarked containers so he made a mistake. OK. No problem. He then got the ICE COLD pizza sauce and charged me an extra $1. Again, OK. But the pizza sauce was awful. The pizza sauce on the pizza was more like red coloring, no significant amount of sauce. This Converse Pizza King is not representative of the franchise. Something is very wrong. I'm left feeling like I donated $40 for nothing. Clean the floors people. Clean the tables. Vacuum the entry rug. Put some sauce on the pizza. Use real cheese and real bread sticks. Come on man.
