The shop had a very laid back atmosphere. lots of spacious seating. the menu had alot of great options, The homemade poptarts were amazing and so was my cold brew. customer service was awesome, and they had a great gift shop. me and my wife have been looking for a good coffee shop to come hangout at and I think we found it!

Had some friends from Fort Wayne come for a visit today and wanted to treat them to lunch. The Encounter Café proved to be a perfect spot. The food was delicious- loved their soups - and the sandwiches were good too. Friendly staff made for a nice experience. So glad to have something local to enjoy!!
Encounter Café is a fantastic, warm, and friendly place to go for coffee & tea! They make their pastries and food in-house. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and I love to meet with my friends here! They also have a nook for my kids to play with toys and games/puzzles while I can connect with fellow adults ? It needs to be on your list of must-visit places, or even just become a regular!
