The Encounter Cafe is a total gem of a place. It is an easy on the soul, warm, welcoming spot where you feel like you could sit and enjoy all day. You won’t want to leave. Bring a good book or just enjoy the atmosphere with a nice drink and a treat, and get the recharge you need. The food and drinks are fresh, made there, and VERY reasonably priced.

The shop had a very laid back atmosphere. lots of spacious seating. the menu had alot of great options, The homemade poptarts were amazing and so was my cold brew. customer service was awesome, and they had a great gift shop. me and my wife have been looking for a good coffee shop to come hangout at and I think we found it!

Had some friends from Fort Wayne come for a visit today and wanted to treat them to lunch. The Encounter Café proved to be a perfect spot. The food was delicious- loved their soups - and the sandwiches were good too. Friendly staff made for a nice experience. So glad to have something local to enjoy!!
