This restaurant used to be the staple for any family celebration. The menu WAS awesome and the BBQ sauce was to die for. Now, they have changed the menu and the BBQ sauce. The family famous overstuffed potato is no longer on the menu and the BBQ sauce is thin and lacks the depth of flavor the original sauce had. I gave two stars because the food was ok, but not exceptional as it used to be. I'm astonished that they were brazen enough to keep the name it was so different. There was one improvement, the candied jalapeños but we all sadly agreed that we won't be going back.

We had the Jeff Buffet. The pulled pork and brisket were the best I'd ever had! All the food was great. The service and setup were very smooth and quick. Our catered meal was a success.

Stopped by for an early to go dinner on the way home from a local retreat. Came highly recommended from several people. The hostess who patiently took my order was well-mannered and super helpful! The food was hands-down awesome! We had ribs and mac n cheese! If, ever passing through again will definately be ordering!

Been here many times for takeout the many years. Rarely has anything been correct. From missing sides, missing entrees, and missing sauce. For roughly $20 a plate and basic orders done online in a clear way they struggle. Today however took the cake as the manager said the kitchen definitely put the order together correctly and wouldn't fix the issue despite being local. The downfall is happening at this restaurant as their menu has been gradually getting smaller and the prices are going up. Sauce there used to be creamy, but now is runny like water. Really want to support local businesses, but Obi's BBQ in Marion is the same quality/cheaper/great order accuracy. I am sure they try hard, but the cost is higher than typical and the service is poor.To put it in perspective Friday @ 12:30pm there was 2 tables being waited on inside (mostly empty) and I was the only one waiting for a togo order and it still was just too hard to do correctly.Wish this place the best, but the price doesn't match the service.Manager thinks the solution to their errors is for the customer to resolve. In the past they forget an entree and think it is appropriate for the customer to drive another 40 min. Forget sides same thing, and today they can't even put sauce with their food. The one ounce cup of sauce for 4 entrees was water so likely didn't miss out on anything. Claims I yelled at their staff is not true.I gave the manager constructive feedback that believes incomplete orders constantly is just how humans are. He claimed staffing issues, but there was easily 3 workers to 1 customer. Sounds like management issues.Skip this place and go to Obi's BBQ.

We were pulled in by a Facebook post about smokey Spanish dogs and left with a new favorite restaurant to add to our date trips. We loved the Spanish dogs and the nachos. The cornbread was fabulous. Everything about the food and the experience was top notch. Our waitress was a delight as well!

Awesome experience! Awesome food, service, and atmosphere.We often drive a hour one way to get good bbq abs brisket.I found this place and started following their Facebook. Looked like good food and atmosphere, then I noticed some concert posters on the walls from one of my favorite bands so I knew this was a place I had to try.I was excited about this trip like a little kid.I was just as happy when I left too.My wife loved her brisket sandwich and super slaw.I had the cheddar jalapeño sausage acc it was GREAT along with the brisket slaw and beens. And the desert is a must try bourbon peach biscuit.I'm sure I'll be back before the weeks over.This is our new place we love it!
From the moment we walked in, the person at the door was smiling and kind. Our server was so sweet. We had never been there before. She took the time to tell us about any item we had questions about she never seemed annoyed that I asked so many questions. The food was amazing!! And it was served to us very quickly. I can't say enough good words. 12/10 absolutely recommend. We will definitely be going back.
