We live about 150 miles from Converse but when we are in this area about 3 times a year this is our go to place. Always great food, owners are very friendly and interact with customers, and the servers are wonderful, our last interaction server wise was a young lady named Drew, ask for her, great job
We had some delicious brisket and other meats while in the area. While there, I purchased a small tub of the tallow to take home and loved it's smokey flavors when cooking or adding to ground beef after browning. I ordered 3 large tubs of the tallow to be delivered and Lindsay was very accommodating in making it happen.
Me and my fiance decided to sit down for lunch this afternoon and we're so glad we did! Our waitress, dezaree, was super sweet! She's such a welcoming person. We never had to wait for a single thing and that's always a plus.
