The Neighborhood Cafe

My husband and I stopped in for the first time for breakfast. I got the meat omlette, which was very good. Hashbrowns were okay. My toast was more like a 5 grain, and it was very good. Large pieces of bread. The atmosphere was different. It was clean, but a lot of the overhead lights were not working and not on, so it was dark in there. It was also chilly. Our server was sweet and efficient. I only saw one server working. We didn't wait long at all for our food. My breakfast was 11 dollars. My husband got the haystack. The gravy was not homemade, but he cleaned up his plate. His breakfast was 10 or 11 dollars as well. Coffee was average. They had a salad bar for lunch so we may go back to try that. An average little place with decent food.

The waitress was super nice and accommodating! Food was great 👍 it was pretty empty not completely sure why maybe the set up inside? That was only only thing I could think of. Plain jane needs a remodel changing table wouldn't stay up in the women's bathroom. ( i was there with my 4 month old) but we got our food super fast! And the service was awesome just the decor and bathrooms need updating for sure

We were on our way home from vacation. We like to support the local mom and pop diners. This diner had great reviews and great prices. We gave it a try and we agreed. We would return. All 4 of us had the tenderloin and fries.

This is a nice, albeit a generic little diner. The salad bar was extremely fresh. The mushroom burger that my daughter had looked fantastic.The service, even on eclipse day, was fantastic from waitress "Snapdragon." Sorry we didn't catch your name we're normally better about that.The only thing that didn't send this to five stars was that the potato chips came out of bag, salad dressing out of the shelf, but it's a good solid place that is very affordable.
