We stopped in on our way back to IL, after our vacation. We loved everything about it! Tiffany was great. We had the breaded tenderloin. We told Tiffany, my dad owned two mom and pop restaurants in my life. My dad pounded out tenderloins just a bit larger than these here. This is the first time I have eaten one with the breading closest to dad's yet! Great experience. The cupcakes were good too.
I love Alice’s obviously! Who doesn’t!? Anyways, I had the lunch special today (salmon patties, peas and fried taters) OMGGGGG! Sooooo dang good! It took me all the way back to grandmas good ole home cooked meals!

The owners, a husband and wife team, are super nice and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Together, they run the restaurant smoothly and quickly, creating a fun atmosphere. Although the interior could use a facelift, the restaurant's charm, cozy seating, and friendly staff make it a hidden gem in the heart of Crawfordsville. It's a small, cozy spot with maybe a dozen seats, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in heart and flavor. The cook knocks it out of the park every single time, making everything fresh to order. Customers appreciate the fast service and the delicious food, always perfectly cooked and served on vintage Corell dishes. Alice's Restaurant is highly recommended and is a great spot for a quick bite.
