I try coffee consistently from all over. When I am budgeting, coffee is the last pleasure to cut. Bodega is so incredibly high quality in every way that it is hard to get coffee anywhere else. The service is incredible. If they don't remember my name, they remember my face and now order. They recommend drinks they think I would like and have very friendly conversations that are enjoyable without being overbearing. Their service is a stand-out and I think if I could pick one place that has the kindest service it would be Bodega. The coffee and food doesn't disappoint either. The za is one of my favorites and always a must have when I see it out. Their chicken salad is also one of my favorites. Their lattes are incredible and their espresso is bold and strong which I love. I always get their coconut dream latte and am usually fixated on flavors I love; however, the baristas have convinced me a few times to try other flavors and they are all incredible. The wait is longer but it is well worth it and matches the atmosphere of slowing down and staying present. It is an experience with this coffee spot and I always look forward to going! Cute place! This was my first time. Everyone was super nice. Of course another place that charges extra for milk preferences which sucks. Coffee is good! She helped me find something that wasnt too sweet which was awesome. A little slow of a pace but not terrible. I dislike that you cant see any prices on their physical menu.

This is a really cute, small coffee shop with a cozy vibe. I ordered the Cinnamon Crunch—it was okay, but I was told it came with cold foam and instead it had soft whip, which has a very different texture and flavor. The coffee itself wasn’t sweet enough for my taste, though it might be perfect for people who prefer a less sweet drink. Prices are on the higher side compared to 7Brew and Starbucks.

Bodega Coffee is the real deal! Out of the handful of spots I frequent in the 219, Bodega consistently stands out as the best. They use quality ingredients, fair pricing, and filtered water—which you'd be surprised isn't always the case elsewhere. The staff is friendly, efficient, and clearly takes pride in their craft.
My palate is used to great coffee from Chicago, California, and Italy, and I can confidently say Bodega holds its own. It’s that good.
The shop itself is super cute, with plenty of parking and a cozy outdoor area that’s perfect for catching up with a friend or just enjoying your drink in peace. I haven’t tried their food yet—it’s not what I come for—but the coffee is so good I’ll happily drive an extra 20 minutes for a cortado + iced americano. NO REGRETS
Honorable mentions go to Small Town Coffee in Crown Point and Grindhouse (mainly for their sandwiches).
If you’re a coffee lover, you’ve got to stop by the Bodega at least once and see for yourself! ☕️

I was so excited to try this place out. I had the Matcha praline and my husband had pumpkin brown sugar expresso. My husband’s drink was great but my matcha was the most bitter matcha I’ve ever had. It tasted like it didn’t have any sweetness even after shaking it up.
Maybe they were just really busy and just kind of messed up my drink accidentally so I’ll give them another shot another day.

I love this place.. coffee is excellent, food is great. They really should consider expanding this location somehow.. making it bigger and hiring more staff. There’s DEFINITELY a demand for it. Line is loonnnggg on the weekends and not much space to sit. If it was on the deliver apps that would be cool. But you’ll catch me waiting, it’s worth it.
I go here almost daily now, it’s kind of expensive but it’s the best coffee me and my boyfriend have had in the area! the ENTIRE staff is so kind and i’ve never had a bad experience here. It’s super quaint and small but the outdoor area is nice in the sun.

The baristas are super friendly and actually remember you after a couple visits, which makes it feel personal. Bodega is the place that Winfield needed! Get the early riser breakfast sandwich , it has the crispiest bacon in all of NWI. The lattes are my first choice out all of the surrounding coffee shops solely based off flavor. Bodega has perfected making their espresso smooth and flavorful , not bitter or stale like the others in my experience! And also , the girls that work there are always there to serve with a friendly face and friendly attitude I’ve never experienced or witnessed otherwise. I have plenty of star program points built up to show how often I visit to stand behind this review. Thank you Bodega and never leave us!
