This was my first time their. I tried the steak torta and it did not disappoint. As big as your head and for the value you cannot beat it, honestly one of the best tortas I've had. And there fries are just as good. I will be going back here.

There were only two servers for a full restaurant. They also were covering the register. Kudos to them for working their butts off. However it made for delays on getting back to customers once seated. Food was very good. Our first time and if in the area again, May drop in.

Hidden gem! Great food! We have been several times and every time enjoy! Great consistency! Great people!
First time here and it was delicious. I ordered green chilaquiles with steak. Eggs were cooked just right. The meat was tender and everything was flavorful. The prices were also very affordable and not outrageous like many other places. Will be back to visit another time. So much on that menu I’d love to try!!

The only Mexican restaurant who checks to see if you ordered a Mexican meal before bringing out chips and salsa. Pretty shitty to do that, won't be back.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The food and price is excellent and I would highly recommend this restaurant. They also have an amazing dessert menu!

Another great meal at Casa Balbina last evening. Im in love with the tostada & tamale…..perfectly made. However, this trip we stopped into the sweet shop, WOW best ice cream in town….
