My family and I love coming to The Original Root Beer Stand. The food is great and the service is always great as well. Be aware that this place is cash or check only. For a family of five I spent about $50. It is an old time type drive up burger stand.
A great place, full of memories! I went on a Saturday afternoon, there was parking available for car service (take away also available). Server was friendly and accommodating. Ordered a jr. Bacon cheeseburger, onion rings and a soda - all very reasonably priced and delicious! I also ordered 1.5 gallons of their root beer, for memories' sake. (Make sure you keep it in a cooler if you're traveling a long distance!) After so many years, I'm still so happy to eat here...
The food is delicious, and everything is so cheap!! I just ate here for the first time in a few years and it was as good as ever. The car hops provide quick and friendly service. It took less than 10 minutes to order and get my food too.
