I've been here and few times over the years and it has always been top notch. A cozy place, the cardinals all around the place add so much to it. One of my favorite breakfast places, I like every bit of the food here, even the toast is excellent. Bring a group, get the beignets, have a good meal.

Cute place with great breakfast! My husband and I stopped in there after traveling for 3 hours looking for a place to eat saw their billboard went in and they closed in 20 minutes but they were very accommodating so don't worry about it and take your time highly recommend.

My family and I stopped at Trish’s Red Bird cafe on our way through to Kentucky from out of state. Immediately you could sense the kindness of the staff and could tell they truly wanted you to have a wonderful experience. My kids were given crayons and coloring mats and my littlest a little basket of toys that kept her entertained the entire meal (not something that ever happens). There were so many great options to choose from when it came to the menu and all of my children quickly found something they were excited to eat. (Again a rarity). My kids absolutely loved the cheese pull of the grilled cheese and the onion rings and the sauce they come with are amazing our favorite out of the meal. Everyone left happy and with full tummies. Before leaving my kiddos were given a little gift that they absolutely love and chalk to take with to make pictures in memory of a young woman (family/ niece to the owner) who left this world way too soon. My heart goes out to the families for their loss, what a beautiful way of honoring her memory. Thank you for treating my family like family. This is the first review I’ve ever written and it still doesn’t feel like it does this place justice. If you’re looking for a wonderful family friendly place to stop and eat you won’t be disappointed with this place their historic connections to the town, little shop inside, their support of other local businesses, and truly the most genuinely kind customer service I’ve experienced in today’s world.

This is an awesome and welcoming place very close of interstate I-65. The ambience and staff are very warm and welcoming. Food is amazing. Must visit if you are passing by. My son and I had Omelette Your Way, daughter had French toast and wife had Avocado Toast.
If there wasn't a sign, you wouldn't know about it. Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed meal. I bought a mug to remember the cafe.Cafe. Oh, how could I forget the beignets. They were delicious!

First time visiting, I am traveling visiting family and this place looked so much better than anything around! The food was yummy, the staff are friendly and the cook especially was a fun person! I was super tired when I visited but the food and environment hyped me up. Will recommend this place and if I am in town, I know where to get a good bite again!

We're on our way to North Dakota, and we stopped in for a quick bite. It was wonderful. There were so many things I wanted to try, but I decided on a Greek chicken wrap. Everything on it was so fresh! My husband got steak and eggs, and it was a perfectly cut and cooked steak. Our server, Keely was also great! She made sure we had everything we needed. I hope we can stop in again on our way home!
