“I'm wary about posting this review because sometimes I have to wait for a table or booth, this place is that popular. With a unique menu ranging from Breakfast Soup to stuffed burgers and amazing ribs, the Red Bird Cafe is not your standard issue roadside diner. Trish herself works in the kitchen and also circulates among her customers to make sure everybody's doing alright. Great decor and even a small souvenir/gift shop. Weekends are the busiest. Be sure to check the business hours.”

“A phenomenal little shop right off the interstate, a great place to meet a client traveling from Indy, if you like to support local. Or enjoy yourself on a slower weekend, and bask in the sun as you sit on the beautiful patio.Food was yummy, and lots of different options. “We ordered a couple pies and were thoroughly impressed. It's a little more expensive but as soon as you take a bite you know why it's worth it. Quality ingredients and lots of them. This isn't Little Caesars pizza with only 5 pepperonis. Fantastic job, keep up the good ”

“This is my second visit here finally and I must say.. I was absolutely impressed with the service.. friendly fast and frigging delicious!!! I don't even think I blinked but 3 times and our street corn was already out being handed to us. the roasted chicken tacos are to die for says my babe. I really enjoy their shrimp tacos with the mango Habanero sauce to put on em.. Definitely recommend this restaurant.”

“Coffee is pretty good when made well. Service is fast but very inconsistent. I’ve ordered the french iced coffee maybe 20 times now and it comes without ice 1/3 of the time. Also tastes different almost everytime. One of the times I asked for an ice cup, the barista sternly told me it doesn’t come with ice… but then why did it come with ice the other 15ish times?”

“One of my favorite places to eat near campus! The ramen is amazing and at a good price. When people come to visit me they often request to eat here after their first visit.Also, if you're in a hurry and want carry-out they pack the noodles and broth separately! It tastes just as good as in the restaurant as long as you eat it while it's still hot.”

“Luckily found this place last minute. They took us in at 9 and told us kitchen was closing in 5 min. which was fine for us.Food was very tasty. Couple things I would comment on for improvement. They sent out an appetizer along with the food without even acknowledging it. Also I asked for hot sauce and they brought out store bought sauce that did not go with the dish. I wish that they had a homemade spicy sauce that would compliment the dish. But aside from that everything else was good and would definitely eat there again.Street Parking could be a bit tough depending on time.”

“I just have to say wow. I got a scone and a rugelach and they were so satisfying. The honey fig pecan scone was amazing. The woman I had the pleasure of interacting with was super friendly. All in all very pleased. I've been trying bakeries all around in search of this quality and this place has got it down in every aspect; the service, food quality/taste, presentation, cleanliness, pricing... Im excited to try some more stuff the next time I come here!”

“We've had brunch before at 8Eleven, but dinner raises the bar. This is high end food at a (relatively) mid range price. The meatless mushroom bolognese was exceptional and the special sea bass was as good as it gets. Presentation is beautiful and shows thought for the dishes. Total bill for three main with one drink was $125, which is a steal for food of this quality. Service was professional and relaxed.”

“When I went in. I expected just a little bakery but what I got was a completely different experience. It was awesome. It was like a small trip to Mexico or something beautiful colors. Amazing sounds the smells were just a hit you in the face with deliciousness. “We stopped here on a Sunday for lunch during our time touring Purdue. Not only was the food and service excellent, they went over and beyond to help us out! We ate lunch right before they closed. Unfortunately I realized I left my purse a couple hours after we left, by the time we returned everyone was gone. The worst part is that we were leaving on an airplane the next day, and the restaurant was closed the next two days. After sending a pleading email, the owner arranged for someone to meet me there before our plane left. My purse was exactly where I had left it, and the employee who met me didn’t even accept compensation for his time. I would definitely eat here again, not only for the excellent food and service, but to support such stand-up people!!!!”
