This is a wonderful local place with a slice of history in each bite. Food was delicious, servers are amazing, and all the history on the walls makes you realize what a wonderful place you are a part of.
Fast, friendly service. Tasty meal sizes. Great atmosphere and location. Because I've been reviewing too many restaurants on Yelp, I've had to go on a low-carb diet. Red Bird was very accommodating to my needs without so much as an eye-roll! I'll go back for sure next time I'm in town.

I'm wary about posting this review because sometimes I have to wait for a table or booth, this place is that popular. With a unique menu ranging from Breakfast Soup to stuffed burgers and amazing ribs, the Red Bird Cafe is not your standard issue roadside diner. Trish herself works in the kitchen and also circulates among her customers to make sure everybody's doing alright. Great decor and even a small souvenir/gift shop. Weekends are the busiest.
