Food was typical tacos and enchiladas. You feel a bit rushed as the table busing cart looms nearby. Also the food comes out a bit too fast. (Maybe the kitchen could slow it down a bit) I only gave it 2 stars for atmosphere because the music was awful. I think we were between two separate music speakers; one was playing a tuba polka and the other was playing tradition Mexican singing.

El Rinconcito offers a delightful dining experience that left me thoroughly impressed with both the food and the ambiance. Recently, my companion and I decided to try their wet burrito and molcajete, and we were not disappointed. The menu promised a flavorful journey, and the dishes delivered beyond our expectations.
The wet burrito was a standout, arriving smothered in a rich, creamy sauce that complemented the perfectly seasoned filling. The tortilla was soft yet sturdy, holding together a generous mix of ingredients that included tender meat, beans, and melted cheese. The sauce added a delightful kick, balancing creaminess with a hint of spice that lingered pleasantly. Paired with the side of rice and refried beans, which were seasoned to perfection, it was a hearty portion that could easily satisfy two people. In fact, we could barely finish half of it, so I’d recommend going in with a hearty appetite—or plan to take leftovers home!
The molcajete was equally impressive, served sizzling in a traditional stone mortar that kept the dish hot throughout our meal. This dish was a feast of flavors, featuring a combination of grilled chicken, ribeye steak, chorizo, and shrimp, all topped with their special molcajete sauce, cactus, and onions. The meats were cooked to perfection—juicy and flavorful—while the cactus added a unique texture and taste that elevated the dish. The accompanying rice and beans on the side were a nice touch, providing a classic foundation that rounded out the meal. The portion size was generous, and like the burrito, we found it challenging to finish, which speaks to the value and abundance of the servings.
The service at El Rinconcito was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was very nice, with a cozy yet vibrant vibe that enhanced our dining experience. The decor was colorful and inviting, creating a warm environment perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. Overall, El Rinconcito offers great food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot. Just be prepared for large portions and come hungry! I’d happily return to savor more of their authentic flavors.

The table next to us was so loud!!! We couldn't hear each other at our table. And I know that's kind of not the restaurants fault but it ruins the meal we couldn't have a conversation we couldn't talk we couldn't hear ourselves think and then when that table finally left they sat a new group of people that were just as equally as loud like they clumped everybody together instead of giving people a little bit of space.
Other than that the food in the service was great they were very attentive to us. The food was on point as it was hot, fresh and delicious. They refilled our drinks, salsa and chips immediately. Literally the only complaint I have is that the table next to us was so loud, rude, crude inappropriate and vulgar I regret going.

Jose is always very kind. I dined in once and had takeout twice. All times my food came out efficiently. I wish they could set the food in a heater or something so that it's not cold when I arrive I had only ordered it 5 minutes ago for a takeout. Still, I could take it home and warm it up. Also they have hidden fees such as: last time I had paid in cash and they didnt tell me about a fee, this time today when I paid in cash the guy at the counter told me there's a fee for paying with cash. Regardless, I love this place and will still return. Most of the workers there are nice and smile at me when they see me.

Went here because family invited us for a birthday lunch. If I could leave a minus 5 stars I would. 1st off food was served room temperature to cold. Then at desert the server decided it was a good idea to smear whipped cream in the faces of my wife and the others celebrating birthdays, this is not ever acceptable! In my opinion though it may have gotten laughs from those that didn't have a face and hair full of whipped cream it was nothing but a very juvenile assault. Not to mention that the wife and I had to travel all the way back to south of Indianapolis before going on with our other plans so she could clean up and reapply her makeup and change clothes before we went to our next even. Staff there needs to grow up.

They’re so quick! A very nice girl was our server, and she was so sweet to my bf and I. The food was super well made, and they had cute Valentine’s decorations up! We were given chips and salsa almost immediately when we sat down. It was our first time there and I will definitely go back!! We made sure to tip well, they DESERVE IT!!

Ordered online charged and tipped good. 1 hr went by no food so being on break from work I picked it up which I was made to pay for and I assumed would be cancelled since there were no drivers to pick it up. They told me it was door dash problem door dash said it was their fault. I was charged double and never refunded. This was months ago

The restaurant was beautiful really gave off a Mexican Vibe the food was a little subpar though they charged me $13 practically for a oversized taco and called it a burrito..... it was basically a fajita size flour tortilla filled with stuff and then turned upside down it was open on both ends and the tortilla didn't even enclose all of the ingredients.. I'm from Chicago and we don't make burritos like this I guess that's how they do it in central Indiana or in the boonies in indiana..... probably cuz of white people don't know any better😬😬😬
