“First time I came here was 1950. The place was called the snack shack then. My oldest sister was the first waitress they hired. My cousin's owned the place. I had a cheese burger and fries and a coke. First time I ever had any of those. Fries are still made the same way today. My wife and I go back there a couple times a year.”

Likewise, service has been pretty slow the times I've been there, but it was obvious that the few people working were working as hard as they could. (Small towns often have problems finding workers.)”

“Today there was a tornado warning in Delphi while we were there. The city lost power and the employees reacted quickly getting the customers and themselves to safety in the basement. We are grateful for the quick thinking of the staff and the concern for the well-being of everybody in the building. Hats off to the crew at Delphi DQ!”

“This place is great and the employees are so nice, and so are the prices. This is probably the most inexpensive McDonald's I've experienced. The only concern I have is that the McFlurries are always soupy and never filled to the top. A McFlurry is supposed to be chunky, thick and a little soft. When I get them here the ice cream is beyond soft like its been heavily melted and the ingredients are always at the bottom because it wasn't mixed well. It looks like the employees don't know how to make a McFlurry. It isn't supposed to be a smoothie. Also they never fill the McFlurry up to the top of the cup. Mine is always filled halfway or less making it about $2 worth instead of the $5+ that I paid for. I am curious about why this is happening. Overall the McFlurries are delicious at this McDonald's location.”

“We stopped by on the way home From an FFA convention. June was working and she is absolutely amazing. We had an awesome time. The wine here is really great. And we love that there are no preservatives. If you buy some bring a cooler. They only sell it cold. We still had a 3 hour drive home. We did have a cooler but no ice. June gave us some frozen water bottles to keep it cold. They have a beautiful atmosphere and gorgeous outdoor setting.”

“What a great lunch spot! We are so glad that ALLBQS moved to Flora. We had lunch there on Friday, and it was packed! Clearly everyone else knows this is THE place to get lunch in Flora. The line moved quickly, and the staff was friendly and efficient. All the food was cooked excellently. The portions were large! We were surprised at how much indoor dining was available! There were many tables open, and we chose to dine in. The staff will either plate or box your meal, whether you’d like it to go, or for dine in. Prices were great for the amount and quality of food we got. We highly recommend ALLBQS for lunch, whether you’re in a hurry, or have time to dine in and relax.”

“21JUN26 - I was in the area for a family reunion and decided to stop at Lee's King for dinner and I was not disappointed. Service was great, pizza was excellent, and I was the only one in the restaurant so the atmosphere was nice and quiet.
Local residents, I hope you realize what a gem you have here.”

“I tried to handle this privately with an email to the company but over a week without a response I decided to leave it here as a review. We stopped in for our 1st time on Saturday for a late lunch – in between the lunch and dinner guests. The food was delicious! The service however wasn't so great. Our waitress took forever to come & get our drink order (another table came in a few minutes after us and had their drinks before our waitress even got to our table). When we asked for the soup of the day she didn't know and would check and get back to us. The menu, which she said “is a new menu” didn't specify the entrée meals for 2 sides vs other options, which we found some came with only 1 side, sandwiches only come with house chips and pasta came with soup and/or salad. If you look entree up it is “main course” so since the menu didn't tell us – the sandwhich was our “main” course they thought they'd get 2 sides also. This is when the waitress went thru every section of the menu to tell us what it came with. Then we asked the difference between grilled and fried. (Fried is normally referred to as cooked in oil on the stove top) … she finally told us it was “breaded of course” and then with a look of like, 'duh what else would it be'. She got huffy (really, kind of rude) about answering our questions and answered them like we were dumb. We were also seated as far away from the outside door as we could have been and she had us and the outside, where she stayed most of the time. Another waitress brought our food. Then we had to go ask another waitress for a refill and to go containers. Our waitress came back in, in time to give us our bill. She got a good tip – hope she shared! We would try it again but I probably wouldn't want the same waitress.”
