Customer service is always awesome when calling to place orders and picking up. Pizza is my favorite. Husband loves the spaghetti and garlic bread. We ordered the full (not the half), and it was easily enough for all of us to eat had we wanted to. I don't think we've ever had anything we don't enjoy from here. Although we have not dined in, it looks like a nice quiet atmosphere to try out sometime. Highly recommend giving them a try.

The zucchini appetizer is superb...it comes with a tangy marinara sauce and the only size available is enough for 4. We wish they had a 1/2 order available like the pasta dishes. The warm bread is also wonderful for dipping in the sauce, minestrone soup,or cut into croutons for the very fresh salad. Eggplant parmigiana, shrimp saute, and pasta with Bolognese sauce were also wonderful, but the Bolognese sauce is made with Italian sausage and it's spicy. Our servers on different visits were both very good. Also the restaurant is clean although my seat had some crumbs on it from previous occupants. Don't let that stop you from enjoying this wonderful restaurant.

Went here after some family bowling time at stardust 3. Their food was just delicious. You've got to try an Alfredo pizza with red onions, bacon, and spinach. It was out of this world good.

Haven't had John's since I was a child I remember going to the one in Calumet City and watching them spin the pizza. No recollection of the taste of the food, I was excited to check it out after such a long time after my brother suggested we all meet there for Sunday dinner.

You can only imagine my disappointment and how bland everything was. I love the cracker crust of the pizza but there was no flavor to it my Italian beef sandwich was cold, it was obviously made first and just left out to sit the french fries were warmer than the beef.

It was let down to say the least.

We were the only ones in the restaurant and we're left by our server for an unreasonable amount of time especially when we were done I'm waiting on boxes in our check.

No one complained it's not our style we ate it it was fine just little disappointed on how bland it was

We went to Johns in Dyer and had a fabulous experience. We went for my birthday. 4 adults and eight grandchildren. The food was amazing and the service was awesome and the boys making the pizzas were so nice to the kids. The kids were watching through the window and the cooks were interacting with the kids. They had a blast and are already talking about how they want to go back. We will be definitely visiting Johns soon! Thank you all so much for the wonderful food and wonderful and friendly service!!!

Yes, the pizza is yummy. As are the Italian dishes & homemade house dressing. BUT, I love their sautéed Chicken Livers!

John's Pizzeria is one of the best places that have gone to they have a really great crust they use good ingredients and the man and woman who own it a really good people and they actually care about their restaurant and the food that they're putting out so my hats off to them and I highly recommend you go there and even if you like to do your own little thing you know you can go there and I'm sure they wouldn't even mind selling you some dough balls and sauce that you can do it yourself definitely worth trying out everything's homemade at least everything I tried has been

Kid-friendliness: They're really nice people they have booster seats and things for your children to sit there they definitely accommodate you if you have children
