Hands down the worst food we were ever served in a restaurant! 1st and last time we will visit. Appetizer: Fried Zucchini - a soggy mess! Yet burnt as well. Obviously dropped into the fryer before the oil was hot enough. End result = greasy & soggy mess.

Soup had ZERO FLAVOR. No salt, pepper or flavor of any kind!

The garlic olive oil pasta dish was FLOATING in a 1 inch deep bed of olive oil. No garlic. No flavor. Just greasy olive oil and pasta. Served cold. The garlic bread served on the side, burnt to a crisp. No garlic or butter. Just burnt croutons!

Beef Sandwich: Not Enough meat on the sandwich to even fill half of the roll. And the side of AuJus tasted like water. Yep, brown water! Again, no flavor or spices.

Ordered some potatoes to take home for a family member. They were floating in oil. Tossed directly in the garbage when we got home.

Honestly, my husband can always find something he liked about a meal.... until now. The service was sub-par. Restaurant was empty. (Now we know why) The best thing about the entire experience was leaving. Truly the worst $50 we've ever spent.

Sorry if this sounds harsh and blundt. But the food was honestly that bad. Don't waste your money.

Okay for the people that been to johns in Griffith. You know how the crust is not johns at all some thin rolled out cardboard? Same crap in Dyer steer clear unless you just like it that way. I came here thinking I would get a johns pizza nope, not at all. Best one is the original johns in Munster. That explains an empty parking lot here when it used to be full all the time. Its 5:39p. Not even anyone at the bar or in the restaurant. Good luck guys. Take the extra drive to munster its well worth it.

Hoping to find the frozen pizza of my youth, I sought out this place. It may be the stuff of Friday night meals, but it was hard to tell as we ordered sausage and mushrooms. Crispy crust served with sufficient amount of sauce and toppings. Italian Peroni beer on tap was a nice touch.
The wine size wasn't a value for the price, however. This is not the city.
The 50s diner music was annoying after the first half hour, as it was loud for the few occupants of the room at the time. Still, I would return for the quality of the pizza.
PS not greasy at all!

Customer service is always awesome when calling to place orders and picking up. Pizza is my favorite. Husband loves the spaghetti and garlic bread. We ordered the full (not the half), and it was easily enough for all of us to eat had we wanted to. I don't think we've ever had anything we don't enjoy from here. Although we have not dined in, it looks like a nice quiet atmosphere to try out sometime. Highly recommend giving them a try.
