best Chinese food in the Schererville area
Ignore the bad reviews. We have had Chinese from all over this area and they have the best. Rice is.not dry like all the other places. Orange chicken actually has a spice to it and not like candy like all the other places. The only thing I think has gotten worse are the egg rolls. Judge for yourself.
Ordered 3 different lunch specials, all tasted identical and sweet when 2 were supposed to be seasoned hot. Nothing but Chinese fast food. Portions were small, barely enough for a meal. Won’t be going there again.

Do you hate yourself? Have you ever wanted the experience of chewing on drywall? Look no further than Lucky China. Their food is so dry and bland you'll feel like you shoveled a construction site directly into your mouth.
Authentic bruised orange peels in their chicken will have you reminiscing on your past life as a garbage disposal. With rude staff and high prices, how could you ever choose anything over this?

Not good. Fried rice had no flavor. Egg rolls were old. Will not eat here again. J Gin is much better

Ordered 3 different dishes from the lunch menu. All were sweet when two were supposed to be spicy. Portions were small. Egg roll was terrible. All Chinese fast food poorly prepared. Won’t be eating there again
Food used to taste fresh, flavorful and pretty good, but this last meal was just HORRIBLE, not fresh tasting either. Not sure if the place is under new ownership because the cashier was someone new and not the family I’m used to seeing.

The food was horrible. The vegetables in the fried rice were freezer burnt and the shrimp wasn’t cooked all the way thru still pink. Just nasty

They used to be very good but have not had the same quality lately the last few months and they raised their prices ! Chicken is not fresh and hard to chew, sauces are different and taste bad, egg rolls are overcooked and 1/2 the size now. I mentioned it twice the last two visits but nothing has changed. You have now lost my business after a few good years of being a faithful customer.

I recently ordered from this restaurant and I must say I was not pleased not with the atmosphere there were boxes of food like rice and other boxes all in the waiting area. The prices for plain LG rice were high $9.25 what they call egg rolls are really spring rolls the size of a twix candy bar ..it may be bigger than the roll 2 for $4+ and a small gravy $2 that was ok but overall I found the food to salty.priced to high I give this place -1 .. look for another place to eat.
