My favorite Mexican restuarant. The food is always great, and the service is very friendly. I've eaten here dozens of times and have never had a bad meal. I love their taco salad with carnitas. Hilda's Favorite Margarita is a must try. It's all made from fresh juice.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant! My first time here and I was surprised when pulling into the parking lot at 5:00pm on a Tuesday night that there were only 3 other cars in front of the place! I walked inside and noticed there was only 8 other customers seated at 3 of the 10 tables in the whole dining room. I approached the counter and gave my order and then sat down having a margarita ($8.00) while waiting for my food. Margarita was ok and it was made with El Jimador tequila. Came home and started eating! Guacamole ($8.75) was not very spicy and lacked flavor and the chips that came with it were not restaurant made. Pork taco dinner was ($14.50) and there was a real good amount of pork in each one. Beans and rice were pretty good. That being said, there wasn't a whole lot of flavor in the pork as they were very dry. I had even asked when ordering if the pork was marinated and the young employee told me that it was. I also asked for some whole jalapenos and received two of them ($.55). Overall, the food was not bad but didn't have much flavor. I give my meal a 7 out of 10.
Sorry to see Rubin and Hilda to go. But Javier is the nicest host and the place still serves great food

Ordered the taco bar for a birthday party. This was the second time I’ve ordered. The food is amazing, plentiful, and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. I would not hesitate to order it again & encourage everyone to give Ruben’s a try.

First time trying this restaurant and we loved it!My mom had chicken enchiladas and I had steak enchiladas, Big portions of food, Everything was delicious, chips were soft and all 3 salsas were really good, the server was nice, loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back to this place

Great food and great service. I had a steak burrito, chicken enchiladas and chicken fajitas and my family really enjoyed it. Definitely will be back.
