I was at this establishment last night (1/20/2026). I was served a note inside my plate of food. Which was a complete turn off. I didn’t realize what was in my food at first. But I had them take it back after noticing it and I didn’t even want a replacement meal I just wanted to leave. Then I remembered I took this photo and I’m posting it now. The staff acted as it wasn’t a big deal. They’ll NEVER receive my business again.

Let me start off by saying, I will always drive an extra 20 minutes both ways to go to this location. Dyer is always an amazing experience.
Last weekend, my husband and I didn’t feel like driving the extra time to Dyer so we decided to give Crown Point a second try. I won’t get into detail. The whole experience was terrible and we will never try that location again.
We decided to go to Dyer location yesterday for an early dinner. Our server was Alena (I hope I spelled it right!) Even though they were so busy.. she was phenomenal!!!! From the moment we sat down, to when we left. She was fast, attentive, funny, and very professional. She is good at what she does. I told her about Crown Point towards the end of our dinner and told her how amazing she was. Texas Roadhouse is lucky to have her. We will always be at this location because the service and food is always great!

Found hair in my alcoholic drink, then when food was served found another weird looking black and blue and white 1-2 foot hair in the mac and cheese bowl that my young 11 year-old daughter was about to eat until she noticed it and picked it out. Could’ve choked or even seriously could’ve been worse. Their excuses was there is Christmas decorations in the kitchen over the prepping area, which I know that is totally false because that is not allowed in any kind of food restaurant kitchens or anywhere that serves food like that in my conclusion I thought that might’ve been a vitality tactic because I found hair in my alcoholic beverage but to attack my child is very unacceptable . Food was comped drinks were not not even the pop there was an apology, but that was about it. I expect more out of a big chain restaurant like this more should’ve been done to keep customers really happy over stupid mistakes that should not have happened in the health inspector should really check out this restaurant. We are definitely not going back to this restaurant or maybe even this chain of restaurant in past experiences. I would still give customer service and food about a 2 out of five. They can’t even cook a steak the way you want it my wife’s chicken was dry last time not this previous time and I felt we felt sick to her stomach’s just to go through this.

Savanna the host was extremely rude. I will nkt tolerate a kid talking to me like in 10 years old. She told me to move out of the isle way in front of the doors when I was with my dad and there was literally nowhere to stand and nothing was said to anyone else. Ive been in the food industry for 30 years so I know how a business is ran and I know a good employee and bad employee when I see one and she definitely isn't good. You do not use that tone of voice with your elders. I will never go back to that Dyer location. I called before hand and everything. Called for an hour but the host wouldn't pick up the phone for a possible reservation so I had to call back and act like I was ordering just to tell them a party of 10 was coming in and she was rude as well, all she did was transfer me to Savanna and she told me no reservations. I wonder why the phone rang for an hour with no answer on her end? LAZY!!!!

Floors were slippery from greasy mop difficult to walk. Booth by outhouse has no padding very uncomfortable sitting on a board.
