During my recent visit to El Paso's I was excited to finally sit and dine-in. Unfortunately, the entire staff on duty this particular visit was VERY unprofessional , and my food was at it's lowest a 3 out of 10. My appetizer was served at the same time as everything else my table had ordered & my main course order was completely cold. I sent my torta dinner back to the kitchen & it was brung back to the table to question " why i sent it back to the kitchen " causing a even more delay in me receiving my meal. The drink selection being all cheap tequila also very concerning because the drinks made me & my two guest sick , we did not finish anything we ordered. The normal day-time service I would receive for pick-up however is nothing like the service I experienced during my dine in. The kitchen staff & our server seemed very unconcerned & even at one point , all laughed at , in my opinion, the distress my party had begun to display from the awful service I couldn't believe we were experiencing , leading to me revealing that I was a professional food critic with available credentials to leave with the server for management - whom giggled and said no thank you .
I appreciate the restaurant's effort to create a unique atmosphere, but the food and service fell short. BADLY. To improve, I suggest adding additional training to their staff on professionalism and courtesy. Timely communication and understanding how they can interact with the public whom aren't hispanic or mexican.

I got the breakfast burger and it was a really nice size and super good . Paired it with a lime/strawberry margarita but just the lime one is fine if you’re not too much of a sweet drink person . Super good and waitress was really friendly . Do recommend to try it out

The food here is spectacular. Been here twice and both time food was on point. Al pastor is phenomenal and the angry bird is crack.
I went to Hammond from Chicago and was so sad to find out the mexican food there is awful. I had given up until I decided to order 1 al pastor taco and 1 asada taco from here. Even though this is East Chicago, I was so happy to find out that they have similar, if not better, tasting tacos than Pacos tacos, El pastor, Internacional, etc. The sauces were the cherry on top as well. Thank you for saving me from my troubles of finding something that tasted like Chicago. Oh, did I mention? They have great American food as well! And the real yellow nacho cheese instead of some watered down ones I've seen at places.

I have eaten here the roast beef hamburgers and the meat broth in its juice, definitely the best and delicious. I highly recommend 👌 and the delicious margaritas

Food very unseasoned I asked for “Cebollitaz” literally gave me dam onions that go on burgers asked burger looked like a dam burger from The dollar menu mind you prices are very overpriced for this food would MOT RECOMMEMD

Omg... ok been a Lil bit since I've been reviewing places, didn't want to bring any negative vibes seeing how the economy has been. Momma always said" If you don't have anything nice to say keep it to your self".. well THIS DOESN'T APPLY TO THIS PLACE SO. yes food was off the chain can't get enough it was worth the drive i made for it coming back from the city. . Hats off to entire crew and kitchen staff. . Love it I'll be back this week... just wait..
