I've been to Midwest Eats twice and both times I was extremely satisfied. I am really big on service more than anything and I was given outstanding service both times. They greet you with smiles and are very attentive. I had the Cajun Catfish and OMG. So good! The ambiance is the cherry on top. Definitely will be back.

I was able to book this establishment for a catering event for a New Year celebration for my staff held in Hobart, IN. Not only was the food savory, flavorful, and pleasant it was also appealing to the eye. My staff could not get enough of the food and had nothing but great words and full bellies. It was a joy with working with this company and could not have asked for a better menu. Our event consisted of lamb chops, salmon, smoked chicken, sautéed vegetables and more. My staff truly enjoyed the food and could not have asked for anything better.Thank you!

Catfish was on par! Nice large fillets and fresh tasting, too. Now, I eat my catfish with tarter sauce but prefer horseradish sauce, as I'm not a hot sauce fan. They didn't have tarter sauce, but that's minor. Oh, the peach cobbler was fantastic.

I can't say enough about this place. The atmosphere was so incredibly beautiful, like being in a melanated enchanted forest. The music, food, staff and entire experience was amazing. I came for lunch with friends and I'm going back for their live music at 9pm (Sundays) with Ric Rhoadz and Genre Free. If I could eat here everyday I totally would. You won't be disappointed with a single aspect of Midwest Eats.

Went on a Sunday Open Mic session and this place is a vibe indeed. The open mic was amazing and the food from this restaurant was simply incredible. It is a MUST try. Whoever made that peach cobbler deserves a nobel peace prize because that alone can promote peace to whomever tries it! You can't be in a spicy mood eating this food -- I cannot wait to try more!

Amazing local place. I was told the food would be about a 15 minute wait which was probably just for precautions cause the wait was not long at all! Kind staff, fair pricing, GREAT FOOD!! There is an option dine in and the vibes are almost as good as the food!! Tell your friends to pull up!! I want them here forever and I can’t do it alone yall ? LETS EAT ?️ ? ?

The food and the experience was absolutely phenomenal! Definitely in my top five of soul food within Chicago and East Chicago. We did a catered celebration and everything was phenomenal. Best fried chicken ever! Mac and cheese was extremely creamy and cheesy with all the right balance of flavors.
