The sopes were good, but the combo (sopes grandes) comes with 2 sopes, a pop, plus fries. The sopes were good but the fries were soggy and terrible. They need to bring back the rice & beans with the combo.
We have been going here for over 20 years.It has new management now it definitely isn't the same. Ordered 4 sopes, the shell was fried beautifully not hard, but the pork meat wasn't good. Won't be going back.
Use to be my favorite taco joint when I stayed in E.Chicago and I forgot how good their food was until today....I must start back heading that way more often again....Sure do appreciate the hours & the prices
