“While traveling through the area I noticed the amazing view of the lake while driving by and decided to stop for lunch. Nikki was a wonderful host & waitress accommodating my request for dining outside and made an excellent recommendation as a first time visitor. Superb!! The day was beautiful, the meal was great! And the service was excellent!! If you’re in Elkhart or passing through, stop by and enjoy a nice meal and be sure to tip well!?“

“I've had a few totally different experiences here. A few less than good ones but the last experience was really nice. It's our neighborhood bar so when we want a cocktail, it's the only one walking distance so this is why we come back even if the previous experience wasn't as great.“

“Chubby Trout has the best food and staff. McKenna and Sierra will make sure that you have a perfect evening. The sushi is above and beyond and if you have enough room, make sure you try their crab bisque.“

“Great food!! Burgers are amazing and they make fantastic potato wedges. My favorite being the bourbon burger. Great spot for 21+ that enjoys delicious bar dives. Occasional live music and other events.
Vegetarian options: Probably not a good spot for a vegetarian or vegan.
Parking: Easy access and lots of space to park.“
