“I travel to a lot of small towns across the country. Finding a hidden gem like this was a rare treat. The atmosphere and attention to detail were top notch. The bartenders were engaging and fabulous mixologists. The chef provides an inspired and fresh menu that is executed to perfection! This was truly an amazing dining experience!”

“My husband and I eat at the Chubby Trout pretty regularly and the staff have always been the best. Today, we took our son with us and were told we had a 30 minute wait. We sat out in the breezeway and my four year old noticed one of the hostesses was changing the sign. He said “I like your drawing!” She smiled and took the time to talk to him, even including him in letting him choose the colors to “help” with the sign. Sometimes it’s hard to keep your child entertained for more than a few minutes, but she went above and beyond to make him feel happy and welcomed. She could have walked away, she could have politely asked him to leave her alone, but she her kindness was more impactful with my son. We have always felt welcomed when interacting with the servers and hosts at The Chubby Trout (which is why we come back monthly). As we walked out after our delicious meal, she same hostess said “Hey new best friend! Thanks for helping me with my sign! It looks great.” My son was beaming and didn’t stop talking about it the whole way home. Tonight, we had the chubby trout meal , the prime rib, and the Sue Sue shrimp as an appetizer. All were fantastic! My son always gets the kids grilled cheese and somehow eats the entire thing (it’s huge and I hear you, “how can a grilled cheese be amazing?” But it is. My husband and I try to sneak bites of it. Maybe Cam needs to come up with an adult version. 😆). We love this place so much! Thanks for always making my family feel welcome. 🤗”

“We arrived at 12:30. A few patrons still dining. They left, a few entered. Quiet and the 7000 TV's were silenced. (Okay, exaggerated a bit) But Service, (By Laura) was friendly, prompt, and frequent! The menu? OMG! What looks MORE MMMMM? I had Cam Cam Shrimp Tacos in soft shells with ELOTE Corn Side. OH....MY....GOD! Delicious The Tacos? STUFFED with large, crispy-fried Shrimp I could die for! $$? Yeah a bit, but OMG, big-time WORTH it in Spades, Diamonds, Hearts, and Clubs! I WILL be back! SOON! “Great little brewery. Loved the atmosphere, great food and great drinks. It's a little different than most as when you go in the sign says to seat yourself and go to the bar to order. My Wife and I decided on a jalapeno popper pizza and a Reuben sandwich. We had a beer and a slushy brain freeze. I brought the drinks back to our table and a little while later they brought out our food. I will definitely go back when I'm back in Elkhart. Great food great service and great staff.”

“AMAZING! Alyssa is the best. Our family and friends who are family make the trip from Ohio to Notre Dame every year for a football game. We stay in Elkhart and always have a wonderful experience here. We decided on Olive Garden after a full day of traveling and visiting the campus. Let me tell you - this was the best dining out experience I have had in a really long time! We were treated with patience and value by the hostesses and were seated much sooner than expected. One of our party had a birthday, so our server Alyssa helped us plot a surprise "happy birthday" song (which sounded so professional, by the way, as well as a complimentary birthday dessert. Thanks Alyssa!

My 6 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and then Celiac - so we are in the process of changing her to a completely gluten-free diet and letting her try new GF foods. When we ordered the GF pasta, Alyssa asked if this was an allergy so she could alert the kitchen, which I found extremely thoughtful. When our food was brought to our table, before adding any cheese, it was confirmed it was okay and safe for her to have! Navigating chronic autoimmune diseases in your child is overwhelming, so feeling understood and valued meant the absolute world to me!

If I could hug Alyssa and let her know how much her thoughtfulness, kindness, and amazing service meant to me, I would.

I also appreciated the manager coming to our table and making sure we enjoyed our meal.

I order coffee from places all over the Midwest, and I love the fact that Bendix doesn't charge rates like many other coffee roasters charge, but they still kick out just as good of a product! I was blessed with a free bag of a test-run coffee before it hit the shelves and was able to communicate with Alex about the coffee itself to help it get a little more dialed in. They offer plain creamer with addition to flavored creamer on the table (as a flavored coffee creamer person I love this). With notes on each table apologizing for staff issues and a delay being served, our food was ordered within 10 minutes and received within 20 minutes (table of 4). 30 minutes total for our food was exceptional. The food is always hot and delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the portions. Staff is always nice and friendly as well as quick with checking on customers. Fruit depends on what is available for the season and is fresh and tasty. This place is definitely worth the stop after our 14 hour drive.”

“I have had good luck with this Jimmy John’s. Not every order has been perfect but nothing that has made me regret ordering. Today the delivery driver went above and beyond. I spilled my drink just inside my doorway and she stayed to help me clean it up. I’m a paraplegic so cleaning liquids on the floor can be a little tough for me. She even drove back and got me another drink after we cleaned up the one I spilled. I didn’t get her name but she definitely went above and beyond when she didn’t have to do any of it. I appreciate her help and kindness. She’s definitely a keeper.”

“I don't often eat at Taco Bell and literally haven't been in one for 6 years before this visit. This location was clean and well staffed.

There are kiosks inside to place your order, but staff was available to answer questions I had. I was very pleased with the simplicity and ease of the kiosks. I was able to customize each item as needed. I spent more time than was actually needed because I was exploring the menu in a way I don't feel I can when I'm a drive-thru. Because of this, I even stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something new.

My order came out quickly and was exactly as I requested.
