Had a great time at 523 at Bent Oak last night. The ribs were excellent and service outstanding, Thanks Carp!
I Ate at your restaurant today with a group from my church, 20 people in all. Our waitress, Adallise , did such a wonderful job taking care of all of us, keeping everything running smooth. My congrats to her!! Thank you , Adallise .

I want this place to succeed, but this is the second time the service has been terrible. Group of about 20 women celebrating a big birthday with a reservation, so not a surprise for the management.. Only one server for the entire restaurant, who also was the bartender!!! Ridiculous. Just one more person would have helped.

Sunday brunch. Waited for our food for about an hour. Coffee is $4 and tasted terrible, way too strong. The Frittata doesn’t come with toast or anything and mine was gooey, as if they used liquid eggs that didn’t get cooked. I had them take it back, to cook it more, but it didn’t help. My husband had the egg burrito and said it was terrible. We brought everything home for our dogs to eat. I normally don’t write reviews and years ago we loved eating dinner at Bent Oaks. It’s not the same.

We had previously come as a family for the mother's Day brunch,we were not happy with the food as it was all cold and didn't like the " fake" powdered eggs ...we decided to give it another chance this past Sunday, there was 8:of us,no one else was in the dining room when we arrived, and it was menu dining which we thought might be better....we were surprised it was 4$ for a cup of coffee, then we waited an hour for our food which was mostly frittatas....my sister's was not cooked,so she sent it back, was still not cooked upon return but she ate it anyway, others food was cold, and the burrito wraps were like rubber...sorry to say we all decided we will not be back,we always loved this place before it became 523,had lots of family dinners here, but no more? our bill was around 200$,expected way better!
We have tried to call for carry out two times this week and you are never open. Really really bad

Had a reservation for 18 people for lunch
When we got there tgey had forgotten to look at reservation book. We pushed tables together ourselvrse. Arrived at 11:30. At 12 we didnt even have water. Finally got some drinks from bartenderaround 12:15. Apparently waitress was late. At 12:30 we still had not ordered.
One of our party finally got paper and wrote down all our orders. We have it to waitress who by now had arrived. Started getting food around 1:15 til 1:40. Didn't get bills til 2:15. Left at 2:30. This is ridiculous service! Sandwches were to have chips per menu..we all received fries. Waitress said they don't have chips also no bread for people with salads. This is now 18 women that are gonna give a bad recommendation for this restaurant.

Had a great meal and even better service. Carp took great care of us with drinks and awesome service. Recommend to stop by and give them a try.
great drinks from the bar service was excellent felt very welcomed with two older kids
Very disappointed with the Easter Brunch. Had the option to add prime rib which we did. 5 minutes later it comes to the table not warm. We still had a 15 minute wait in line to get salads and sides to go with it. Needless to say it was very cold after that. The buffet should have been set up so people could go on both sides. It wasn't injoyable to set out where all the food was with constant flow of traffic going by your table. Food was not real warm. Served mashed potatoes plain no gravy really??? The pasta with Alfredo was so dry you couldn't eat it. Green beans were hard not done. It was just a very big disappointment for the expense. Soda should have been included. $38.52 plus $8.00 tip was not worth it. Just an opinion, we all have one.

Did the Easter Brunch today. Set up was all wrong. You stood in line 20 minutes to get food. Next time set up so people can go down both sides. Brought the prime rib out too soon. By time got my food prime rib was cold. It did have a good flavor. If you are going to serve cold mashed potatoes at least have some gravy. Need a better chicken Alfredo recipe. that is not so dry. Cook the green beans so they are done.

The food was absolutely amazing! Maci was a sweet and attentive waitress. 11/10 recommended, will be back soon!
This was the first time my husband and I ate here. It was amazing! We can't wait to come back and try something else. My husband had the Walleye. I had the Bacon Jam burger. That was the best burger I've ever eaten. The Romano fries were so good. You really need to eat them to appreciate how good they are.
